NiAWOL ko sa una kay wa ko kauyon nga gibalhin ko ug laing department. Pero pag kuha nako ug Employment Certificate ok raman.hehehe
akong company last attended kay naay free 3 days awol. pero if 4th na naay posibilty sa termination. pero still undergo due process. daghan pa agian like counselling sa hr ug other investigation. best jud kung mu leave ka sa company na cleared imo name. some companies raba kay magpa post sa dyaryo ug mga nawng sa employee na nag awol. " bla bla has been awol for bla bla, any transactions done with blabla shall not be honored by x company."
ako kay ni AWOL ko kay for suspension mn daw ko atoh kay sa performance daw pro mao naglagot ko atoh kay mismo akong TL wala gyd mo inform nga e suspend ka basta low performance pro base sa akong performance, much better akong last kaysa previous nko! kron kay e suspend mn gyd kay wla cla na satisfy,mao toh disappointed sd ko, ayyy AWOL ang show! sibat daun sabay kuha sa gamit sa locker hasta ang yawi sa locker gidala pa... after a few months nabalitaan nko naglumba ug AWOL tanan employees did2, nya karon kay napurdoy ang account! nyahaha![]()
the only consequence of AWOL is that you cannot claim anything that is due to you. No Certificate of Employment will be issued, hence, this will not be credited in your credentials. For higher/vital or critical positions, the company has the discretion to exhaust all means, including legal aid, to make you liable for damages.
For those positions that are not areas of critical concern, companies may ignore that AWOL incidents. (Cost and Benefit Relationship)
In my case, I went on an AWOL last Nov. 2009 as a call boy. I got my prorated 13th month pay, my salary from the payroll cut-off up to my last working day and my COE which indicated ABANDONMENT OF WORK as the reason why I left the company. I got all those after a hundred follow-ups and that was on April 2010!!!
