in fairness, during our trip to Hongkong 2 weeks ago, we arrived in Hongkong 25 mins ahead of schedule, then pagbalik namo sa Cebu mga 15 mins ahead of sched pud, I think they're trying to change their image na pud after all the complaints they have received in the past![]()

cebu pacific b4 (2-3 years ago) was prompt in departures (domestic flights) but now always delayed and frequent cancellation of flights na...maypa ang PAL Improve na ilang on time departures, just my opinnion...
sorry guys..but cebu pacific..letse gyud kaayo ng ilang airlines..ever since, if sila mag cause ng hassle and delays.. wala mahimo ang mga passengers..tagad lang sa ilaha... pero, kung kita mga pasahero na ang mag ask for a speedy and just service from them.. mamatay na lang ta sa kalagot! mga yawa gyud ng mga top executive sa cebu pacific ..mao man silay tighimo sa mga policy na dili pro customers... unya dili kaha one way of their profiteering or racketeering nila ang style na in-ana, they will not accept you to board if you are 20minutes away na lang from your flite kasi close na daw ang check-in.. so that they can charge you of a no show! and your choice is to rebook or refund the tickets..with skyrocketing super high charges and penalties... in the end.., your 2000 ticket price... will only be refunded at around 400 pesos plus the almost near to forever waiting game. when you rebook or change the flight sched.. you have to pay for their price difference of 1880 additional... wow, !!! truly amazing cebu pacific right guys!?95% ontime-- as in 95% ontime talaga ang cebu pacific when collecting your money..and the 5% is all hassles...
fly now in cebu..and you will land in the pacific!

Ok ramn ang Cebu Pacific ug dili kaau dako imo budget. Hahaha. Pero btw, barato ra unta pro katong flight namo sa HongKong, ang akong chair kay guba, sakit kaau sa liog. Puno mn pd ang seats ato so d kabalhin. So for 1hour ++ wa jud ko karelax. tsk tsk. Pro sige nlang., barato man. Hehe.
The check-in counter usually closes 45 minutes before departure time. That's standard with all airlines, not just Cebu Pacific. That's so they have enough time to process wait-list passengers, generate the passenger and cargo manifest, generate a weight-and-balance sheet (for pilots' use--get this one wrong and the plane might crash!) sort all the luggage and load them onto the aircraft. Assuming a turnaround time of 30 minutes for Cebu Pacific and everyone has at least one check-in bag that means 180 bags to load in less than 15 minutes (15 minutes to unload the previous flight's luggage, 15 minutes to load the next one's). And we're only talking about luggage. There's also cargo, which can mean dozens more packages to handle.
The airline also has that much time to board 180 passengers. Moreover, your seat may have already been given away to a wait-listed passenger so even if they wanted to take you in they probably can't.
Which is why check-in counters normally close 45 minutes before departure time.
Just show up at the airport early and avoid hassles.![]()
