It all boils down to personal preference.
Sadly, most folks needs a smartphone not as a necessity but a status symbol.
If you don't have one either your poor or out of the loop.

Reasons why I don't have a high end phone:

1. The only reason I bought a phone is for communication purposes. I'm not really into taking pictures though I like playing rpg/online games so it'd really be nice if I could play on it. However, I no longer have the luxury of time to do so due to work and family. I find it necessary to have proper rest so the extra time I've left is allotted to it.

2. The trend these days is very fast-pacing. As observed, only the lavishly rich people (say.. Napoles) can keep up with it.. though you can try (hard). I don't really get the fuss over status symbol and whatever forms of social peacocking in real life or online so there..

3. I'm saving to buy my very own house and lot. This alone gives me a simple and sensible reason why I should just stick my focus on #1 every time the thought of buying comes in mind.


Basically, it all boils down to practicality and purpose.

Lisod mahalon na phone oi, ig ka kawat, sakit kaayo sa buot. If matagak pud, samot buslot imo bulsa.

Ako Iphone natagak last week, toink 9k dayon pangayo. Unsaon nalang!

Yis! I prefer to have a cheap phone kay akong 2-year old nga anak iyang ilabay labay. (Dah rason ra gud na nako ang tinuod dili ko ka afford. nyahahaha.. )

My smart phone (hinatag), kay panagsa ra nako gamiton. kuyawan ta sa jip, labi na karon daghan kaayo manaygonay kunuhay.
