Among the transportation projects are the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Project (P10.6 billion), Busuanga Airport Development Project (P4.1 billion), LRT Line 2 Operations and Maintenance Project (P16.5 billion), and Laoag Bypass Link Road Project (P1.2 billion).

The Palace official said the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit Project to be completed in 2017 will deliver “fast, comfortable and cost-effective mobility” in Cebu City.
Second biggest but most promising national transportation project! Not bad. Atlast, despite of the delays, dream come true na jud. I hope this will be a game changer for Cebu.

Labaw pa sa approved ang airport expansion, mana man gani ug bidding. The issue was the Osmena-backed Filinvest disqualification case against Megawide-GMR but later dropped by DOTC.

So, a world-class international airport and a new and improved mode of transportation which is the BRT have been granted to the Cebuanos

Aquino also green-lit the P10.6 billion Cebu bus rapid transit project, which will deliver "fast, comfortable and cost-effective mobility" in and around Cebu City. The project is expected to be completed by 2017, although major portions may be operational by 2016.

Bulacao to Mandaue is only around 12km-15km(approximate) so LRT/MRT is kinda overkill and cost more. Roughly around 15 minutes(including stopovers) from start to finish in a 80km/hr train speed.

Lots of jeepney drivers will also be jobless.
