How convenient is it that all these allegations (by the President himself) and case for impeachment against Corona immediately after the gears started turning for the Hacienda Luisita case.
How convenient is it that EVEN PNoy's spokesperson, Abigail Valte, affirmed that PNoy did in fact order the motion for impeachment in the lower house, despite the president giving his word that he will not interfere with that matter in the legislative body.
How convenient is it that it took under 4 hours to convene, initiate, scrutinize and come to a verdict regarding the impeachment, in the Lower House.
How convenient is it that Pulse Asia came out with a survey regarding CJ Corona's performance and trust rating AS the impeachment moves to the upper house.
How convenient is it that Batangas Rep. Hermilando Mandanas was replaced as chairperson of the ways and means committee at the House of Representatives on Wednesday, two days after he failed to sign the impeachment complaint against Chief Justice Renato Corona.
How convenient is it that Senator Drillon points out that Corona has this consistent pattern of voting in favor of the past administration, AND does not include the clause that all of them are either in unanimous decision or with less than 5 justices in dissent.

On the other hand we have Justice Sereno who voted in favor of Aquino without fail on all cases brought to the SC. Where's the consistency?

I see no correlation. The SC is made up of 14 Justices. SC Corona's vote equals to 1. How they managed to somehow hold the CJ liable to that decision is beyond me, when the TRO was in majority. He presides, other than that his vote is as good as any associate justice. CJ Corona, however, has made it clear that he will do everything in his power to disappoint Aquino regarding the HL case.

We'll that just totally contradicts with his idea of "matuwid na daan". I thought he was supposed to oppose all forms of corruption.

GMA also ruled the Lower House during her term, some say it's political mastery, but I see it as underhanded, because it is meddling with a separate power (it could be related to the Pork barrel, but we don't know, yet.). IMO If there's anything to object about her term it's definitely this. The issue, however, is apparently PNoy is now in power. But contrary to his promises, he's the one doing the same underhanded tactics as the person he is prosecuting, it seems.

Mao raman kaya sa mga nag-saba2x ug impeachment run. Pasaka ug impeachment, and hope that mu-resign ilang gi accused. They like to exert pressure on the accused, but they really do not have anything to substantiate their allegations in legal forum.

Why?

Mga bangga man kaayo mu-himu ug kaso. Mag pataka man ug labay ug allegations, bisan walay tarung evidence.
They know their argument won't hold up in court, mao nang pressure nalang to resign. I truly commend Corona for standing up to the bullies. A lesser man would buckle under this immense smear campaign.

Unsa paman diay point nga mu-demand or suggest sila ug resignation? To save face? That's stupid. What's there to save after such deliberate attacks on your character from a demagogue?
