what i was implying sir is that filos can easily adapt, and by far for me have more skills than other nationalities. i really think filos are smart but some of them just dont know how to use it. in most western/euro countries most private schools offer to teach students nippongo or mandarin i dont know if thats to prepare the kids to be globally competent but im not saying that japos are incompetent. all im saying is, a filo can go nearly anywhere overseas without being scared of getting lost or hiring an interpreter.(dont you consider this as an advantage?chinese, japanese and etc travel by group cause they can hardly speak english or they just cant simply converse).
sayup, ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan, tiyak, natulala sa aking kagandahan
our house is clean i am an OC. i make sure everything's in order everytime i leave the house. i'm a well organized woman. ay nag kontra kay woman jud ko
i'm gonna meet with my business partner, paris hilton, later. we'll have lunch at the spiral
its because we have to....its survival for us now considering our economy is nowhere but in shambles
our college grads, even professionals ended up as maids in London, our doctors as nurses in the states
our workers risks their lives during to gulf, iraq war unlike any other nationalities dared venture
its because its an act of desperation or something like that, otherwise why would they not chose to stay in the Philippines and be proud of in staying there first place?
and with all these reasons, you are embarass to be a filipino?is that what your trying to say?so it means that everything is just about face value then?who cares if your a doctor in philippines and your gonna be a maid overseas? as long as your making a living out from a legal way then who gives a sh*t on what other people say?oh well,I DONT!
hahahahahahahhahha.

psychologically speaking, if you didnt come from a filthy stinky place then why do you take roaches as a big deal and it even sounds like to me thats your only reason why you wanna get the hell out of philippines? lol . it makes me think the worst as a matter of fact,i was thinking that despite your bragging about how you get paid well, here you are complaining about roaches i should say, GET A DAMN GOOD BAYGON CLEANER MAN!or better yet since you have the money like you said you do, PACK YOUR BAGS AND LEAVE!
please dont put words in my mouth.
clearly I can see the context here
before you want to put it as something to be proud of
now it seem your on the defensive with your "I don't care" this and that
and clearly now its more of a desperation or last resort than something we do by essence of choice
I know its good to have pride or be proud of something
but at least lets not desperately scrounge or scavenge for scraps of reasons to be proud of
because what it appears to be we are squeezing, scraping--- every ounce, inch, every grain or flesh down to the bone, bit by bit, every tiny morsel of reasons of pride we can get and have to put it under magnifying lens para lang gyud ma acknowledge..so ironic..its like shouting out our pride in an undignified manner
I'm neither proud nor ashamed being a Filipino. and merely am just looking reality in the face
I dont need to defensively stress out "hey Im a Filipino we are this and that better respect us"
because the more we talked about pride or respect only shows how we thirst for something we are deprived of like you can never miss water or feel great thirst until the well is dry
also if I may add and find this adage appropriate for this issue:
"Pride is not the opposite of shame but, rather, its source"

i got offended when you mentioned about some of our filo doctors are now working as nurses in states as if its that ironic.i have many GP friends in philippines that are nurses here and I dont think they are even feeling bad about it. I dont even think they are embarassed about it. I wasnt putting anything in your mouth sir, I was just stressing my point why i am proud to be a filo. Its not because of other people's achievements its because I KNOW FILOS CAN GET FAR AHEAD IN LIFE IF THEY ONLY REALLY WANT TO.NO DOUBT!
