at least if james bond pa na wala na sila namakak sa kinabuhi sa mag espiya.
kinsa may rebelde diri in the first place?
kamo ra man sige ug bash diri sa Simbahan.

Basaha gud ug balik ang article, ang mismo gali nga writer wala jud mag-huna2x ug dautan about investing.

Update: pa angal2x paka diha ug dili mutigum sa bangko nya imong mga discussions naa sa stock market. pagkalami nalang gyud nimo ipakong sa obispo sa BPI dodong! you have just solidified my belief that the church and its followers are bloomin' hypocrites.
Mao, kay pareha ra man na ang investing ug saving sa banko..

^^ huh? pareho ra ang saving ug investing? di man siguro ka ihas anang investing bai since tig invest man siguro ka. you are probably also AWARE of the difference. mao bitaw na advice sa mga mga broker it's better to invest your money than save in bank. banks only give you an interest of how much but usually it is lower than the inflation rate. diba? so saving and investing are 2 different things.

sayop bai if dili na ilang kwarta. mas sayop gyud if kanang kwartaha wala nibalik sa nanghatag.

if they are indeed efficient with the way they handle money, they should not ask for donations. a more honest method would be to ask for debtors.

"pautanga among simbahan ninyo. balikan ra mo namo ug 1million." (tax free pa mga inatay)

o, diba? daug tanan. dili kai mangayo ug kwarta, naa nai kwarta, ang tubuo bulsahon pa gyud! haller kaayo!

So, you mean tanang kwarta nga na-collect sa simbahan dili nalang gamiton para mo-dako? Ibalik nalang deritso sa mga tawo?

The writer (probably a financial analyst) on that article was even impressed how the Church handled their money. Unya ikaw, negative kaayo imong tan-aw ana?

Maayo man ug company na ang simbahan or financial institution nga pautangon nimo, then mag-expect ka nga ibalik imong gi-donate.

Kung dili ka motoo ug Ginoo, undang nalang ta ug istorya diri.

negative? ikaw ra nag ingon earlier dili nila obligasyon motudlo unsaon. and now you praise the writer this time? make up your mind!

and since when diay na itubo ang donation before ihatag ug balik. someone needs 5,000 for medical bills. i ask 1k from 5 people. I give the 5k to the person who needs it. That has and ALWAYS been the process bai.

Now you're saying, someone needs 5k, i collect 1k from 5 people, INVEST THE MONEY FIRST, before giving the 5k to the person who needs it? Huh?! Sakto na?! The person needs 5k you GIVE HIM 5k. Asa man ang tubo padung, bulsahon nako? You are bloating the scope of an honest donation, bro. That's a very selfish act bai ("Pay yourself first before paying others.") from someone whose facade is unselfishness. What part of "non-profit" don't you understand?

There is a term for that bai in the private and gov't sector. It's called MISAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDS (regardless of outcome). and the penalty is jail time. Pwede pud bai Estafa. coz you have breached the trust of the people who put faith in you.

Sakto bitaw, are Priests financial educators?
Did I say I'm prasing the writer? I'm just saying that the writer is even impressed on how the Church handled the money.

Bisan unsa pa nang Charitable institution brod, walay ju'y institution nga dili mo-keep aside for savings/investments. Ay pud ko ingna nga puro zero balance na sila at the end of the day?
Take note, gi-invest na. Wala na gi-sugal.

    Lagpas na.

Maybe you forgot or maybe i'm just too naive to know this. There are savings but what I don't know is that they invest their money. Sure, mangayo ug donation. Naa gyud nai excess, the excess you spend for another day. If kulang, ngayo donation (cycle repeats). Dili man pud na sila mazero bai maskin dili na nila iinvest. That's the whole point of the tax exemption of the church and NPOs, because they are not supposed to generate income. if your money grows that IS INCOME. Can the church still, in good faith, claim that they are a non-profit org? I don't think so!

Another thing, NPOs are AUDITED by the BIR and that all expenses must be liquidated by the end of the day. If naai sobra that would be deemed a profit and therefore taxable. If there is a discrepancy, heads will roll. The church doesn't have this kind of pressure.

But to answer your question, YES, dapat gyud ma zero by the end of the day (at least in the books). Well, technically speaking, all the money must be accounted for and spent where they were supposed to be spent.

    Lagpas na.

Taxes are not donations bai. They are OUR hard earned money taken by force. And, yes, politicians DO go to jail if they invest OUR money for their personal gain (if maskapan) or they invest the money in transactions that are deemed conflicts of interest.

Don't compare them directly with priests bai. Most of all, the income generated by invested taxes goes the country's coffers. It is OUR common income. And you can honestly say bai that that money is OURS it belongs to the Filipino people.

Priests are not accountable to anyone, except within their ranks.
