thank you very much for sharing monkey...

btw, a zipline is now available at Agas-Agas Bridge... both tallest bridge (Agas-Agas) and the longest bridge (San Juanico) are found in Leyte.

A Journey to the Tip of Luzon: Churches along Tuguegarao to Aparri

Tuguegarao can be reached either by plane or by bus. The bus ride from Manila will take you about 8-12hours and at 800-900Php depending on the accomodation. Florida Bus offers deluxe, super deluxe (very-wide reclinable seats), and the sleeper (double deck beds). I cannot talk much about the bus ride because on my way there I took the ATR plane of Cebu Pac (which was 30 minutes delayed due to overload) and a bus ride that I slept all the way back to Manila. Dont worry about bathroom because the bus do have one. On my own personal experience, avoid taking the deluxe (narrow seats) and the sleeper (biyahilo).

Tuguegarao is located along Cagayan Valley and one of the hottest but if you go further to Aparri or Santa Ana the temperature gradually decreases. If you visit the places along Cagayan Valley you will take notice of the great Cagayan River which is so far the widest river I saw in the Philippines. The churches along the route of Tuguegarao to Aparri was mainly built by the Dominicans and all churches are facing the river and near to it. The means of transportation during the olden times was thru a boat which is the main reason why it faces the river.

Tuguegarao has alot to offer like the Calliao Caves and other caves. I wasnt able to visit this because my journey is for Camiguin de Babuyanes.

These are the photos I took while making quick stops along the way.

For the Nth time I visited the place... This time with friends who are so eager to shoot this place... LitoCruz who is an IPC-member joined the journey few days before the great Japan earthquake. They surely did have a blast and captured the place perfectly.

Biri can be reached via Catarman and Calbayog. It faces the mighty Pacific Ocean and the treacherous San Bernardino Strait. Someday soon we will be back again...

The rooms in Biri varies from 500-1200 per room. Electricity is available for 12 hours (12noon-12 midnight). Biri is not an expensive place to visit this summer

Sogod is a 4th class municipality in the province of Cebu and divided into 18 barangays.
This photo was taken at a private beach resort, near Dexter Bongo’s rest house in Brgy. Tabunok.
Though Sogod is facing eastward, the scene was just so inviting as the setting sun, from the west, cast a beautiful spectrum of light to the east.

The Silmugi river is an eco-tourism site in northern Cebu.
Located in between the barangays of Poblacion and Cadaruhan,
the river stretches for about 12 kilometers from barangay Vito to Suba.
The river played a big part during Borbon’s formulation as a town because in the past,
the river was knowned to be so big and wide that many boats travelled by it.
It is where the rainwater from the many mountain barangays cascaded and flowed into the ocean.

    Its geographical coordinates are 10° 50′ 14″ North, 124° 1′ 36″ East.
A perfect place for photography enthusiast to take their sunrise photo’s.
This photo, in specific, is one of the rich coastalscapes that Borbon has to offer.

    Transcentral Highway to Balamban

This has probably been posted before..or some might be familiar with it already...but I thought I would share this... I have been cruising along transcentral highway for well over 5 years now. each time I get inspired by the scenic view one could see along the way. There are Sundays where we just drive up there and park somewhere along the road looking at the Landscape...

its been 5 years since the first time I saw the place... and now with the proliferation of Ziplines and resorts, a lot have changed, the roads have become a bit busier, dirtier and the area have somehow lost its appeal (at least to me)...

    How to go there:
    Commute:
option 1: you can ride a V-hire to Balamban that passes through Transcentral highway
option 2: you can go to JY Square and hire a habal habal

    w/ vehicle
    - when you reach JY square in Lahug, just climb towards Marco Polo Hotel all the way to the corner of Tops then drive past tops and enjoy the scenery

Best time to go there: 3pm onwards (It becomes foggy and cold, and if you are lucky..you could get some very very nice sunsets)

This shot was taken at Doces Pares Park just past Tops (one of my first ever sunset)

Doces Pares zipline 4 by bee_tee_double_you, on Flickr

and on the way there on one of my trips we passed through foggy areas

Balamban-5472 copy by bee_tee_double_you, on Flickr

I was disappointed that it was foggy and I couldn't see the sunset...I proceeded to look for another subject... and I found this tree..you can probably see this tree on the left side of the road towards Balamban

Balamban-5430 copy by bee_tee_double_you, on Flickr

so after an absence of 4 months from going there..I went back again last week..this time armed with an MF 55mm Micro Lens... when I saw some Daisy flowers there I stopped and found these bugs

    BugsMacro-8860 by bee_tee_double_you, on Flickr

    BugsMacro-8970 by bee_tee_double_you, on Flickr

there are a lot more as well... but I proceeded on towards the area where KM 33 was to watch the sunset... and It did not disappoint
