depende man cguro na sa imo lugar ug asa ka nga mas duol nga cell site.. i have both globe and sun and for me mas pas2 ang globe then naa pa jud sila 1 day nga unlimited. unlike sa smart nga 5 days jud. nya wat if 1 day ra ko ginahan mag unli, ma sayang ako money. mas maayu sad bro mu ask ka sa inyo mga silingan unsa ilaha isp. ug unsa mas pas2 para nila. pwede pud if naa kay kaila naa globe or smartbro, imo huwaman para ikaw jud mismo mu testify..
to all SMART Canopy User
napunit ra nako....
doon sa nagkakaproblema sa speed o mataas ang ping POST na lang ninyo sa smart/twitter. walang magagawa ang installer diyan. mangulit lang kayo
mag speedtest then post sa twitter with your:
name:
account #:
sr#:
location:
BTS Location: (much better address ani)
I've been a user of these technologies since 2004. I had Globe PCMCIA (Huwawei & Ericson) visibility years ago. I used to have WeRoam. I have used SmartBro. I have several friends who use Sun mobile internet in Metro Manila. Now, im using Globe Tattoo unlimited (P999 per month).
It actually depends on what you want/priority - Mobility? Speed?
Internet speed via these gadgets depends on these 2 major factors : 1. telco signal in the area 2. telco users via cell site in the area.
Depende pud kung asa nimo pirmi gamiton ang imo gadgets.
If your place has a poorer Globe signal, then by all means, get SMART. Possible nga karong buwana kusog si Smart but after few weeks mas mokusog na pud si Globe - this is because the bandwidth that the cell site generates is something that is shared by EVERYONE (pila ra gud na ka E1).
I am not just talking of any signal - i mean 2G or 3G signal. Right now, Globe has the widest 3G/HSDPA coverage in the country. Smart has about the same (but last time i checked mas daghan ug dyutay si Globe). Ambot lang kaha karon.
Here's my observation: Mas kusog si Globe but sige putol2x. Sige fluctuate from GPRS to Edge to WCDMA to HSDPA and everytime mahitabo mo-pause ang connection. Hinay dyutay si Smart but mas consistent.
Ako ni gireklamo. Duna mipindot nako ug nag-advise nga naa solution sa akong issue. I was told nga if i know nga ang akong area kay covered by a 3G/WCDMA/HSDPA, dapat akong i-lock sa menu options nga "3G only" or 'WCDMA only" ang signal. Ayaw sa "preferred". Human niani, ok na kaayo akong browsing.
My advise to you : DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with SUN Mobile Broadband (di man gani consistent ilang voice calls, DATA na ba kaha.). Ask some friends who use Smartbro and Tattoo sa inyong area. Iborrow lang. Then if unsa ang mas paspas, maoy kuhaa.
ako gisulayan ang smart bro ron bah to my surprise murag DIAL UP!!!! ko try ang globe tattoo.. awn nku! hehehe...
just an observation
I got a prepaid globe tattoo sim and use mobile broadband. It was slow
Then I switched to my postpaid sim and use mobile broadband.
The speed was much better.
