Well my dad taught me big. From learning how to drive up to learnng how to deal in business. My dad never worked as an employee. He was a businessman and he raised us well. We are 5 in the family and I am the eldest.

My fondest memory was when my dad cried in front of me and shared his heartaches. It was sad but it was when he taught me that to be strong, you need to admit that you are weak.

When I was in Grade 2, I remember calling him and I was crying because the P100 for a group project was lost and I was so afraid my mom will spank me. Calmly, my dad told me to stop crying and he said that money is like that. You end up losing it by spending or in my case, stolen by my classmate. I kept that in mind growing up that is why to me, money is passing. You either invest it, spend it or lose it to someone/something.

When I had my first boyfriend, he invited me to dinner and eat ice cream at Charcoal grill. He talked about being responsible in my studies because it's the only thing he can pass on to us. As an eldest daughter of 5, he wanted me to be a model for my siblings.

My dad is a man with few but BIG words. He is not the rich looking dad in longsleeves but rather a simple man in shorts and plain shirts who enjoy a bottle of beer at night to relax his senses. He is my one and only idol

He taught me how to play the guitar, drive a car and most of all, to love without expecting something in return. I'm getting married and I can't wait for my dad to walk me down the aisle.
