there are four ways I know of to get Windows 8 (excluding volume license)...

1. For those that buy a new Windows 7 PC excluding Starter from June 2, 2012 to January 31, 2013 you can upgrade online to Windows 8 Pro for US$14.99... some manufacturers have a current promo giving out gift cards for your online upgrade with your Windows 7 PC purchase
2. For those that bought a Windows 7 PC before June 2, 2012 or have a computer running Windows XP or Vista you can upgrade online for US$39.99 here... Buy Windows - Microsoft Windows
3. And for those that have Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 including Starter and don't want to do the online upgrade can walk into a retail store and buy the discounted Windows 8 Pro upgrade DVD for US$69.99... I'm estimating local retailers to price this lower than ₱3.5k
4. For those that don't have an OS to upgrade from can buy the Full Version Windows 8 DVD installer from local stores... Windows 8 Pro I'm estimating around ₱8k

Windows 8 pricing is pretty much low... people pay more for a hardware component

as what ive experienced on activating CS6... i only purchase the key and download the application either from torrent or any website... it is still a legal application after i activated the key...

MS should start considering this workaround.... since piracy will be a hard feat to defeat... selling serial key license may minimize it.... because now adays it is very easy to get the installer but its hard to get a decent key... some resulted to hacking/cracking the activation...

i dont care if i spend 1k pesos for a serial key... but hell no im not spending something more than that for a serial key and application which i can download anywhere... atleast sa ako win7 gitagaan kog access sa MSDN... *thanks to an old friend*

facial recognition has already proved to be easily breakable... picture password is different...

a picture password has an infinite combination of touch gestures so it becomes harder to crack
but like all passwords don't make it as simple as "password123"

yes, I can do it with a mouse. and no, it won't be shown on screen if your projecting... but do beware of the person standing behind you
