LEGO Series 5: Egyptian Queen

Design
- There's no mistake that this minifigure alludes to Queen Cleopatra.
- She certainly is beautiful to look at. It's no wonder Julius Caesar and then Mark Antony (Marcus Antonios) fell for her.

Paint
- Her tiara, necklace, belt, and hemline art are all done well although again I wish LEGO would use 'golden' colors to depict gold.
- Her makeup would certainly make my male minfigures' heads turn but I'm sure she's pretty without makeup.

Accessories
- She only has her asp (see Gripe).

Fun Factor
- She's beauty and brains and could be the Fitness Instructor's rival when it comes to getting attention from my male minifigs.
- Definitely a future theme I'd like to explore.

Gripe
- The head of the snake is so wrong. The split should be parallel with the eyes not perpendicular.

Wishlist
- Although LEGO has issued a Roman Soldier in Series 6, I hope they'd release a Roman General so I can put him in the role of Marc Antony or with a change of the face, Julius Caesar.

@cmontoya: bai got 3 figs sad yesterday from rustans. They have series 4, 5, and 6. Got the Evil Dwarf and Royal Guard from series 5 and Minotaur from series 6. Gpa bilin niya akong catalog sa series 6 kay he has nothing to compare what he feels. Hehehe. Look for Eric kay iya na gpang label ang most packs. Will post my finds soon.....

Gikan nako Rustan's and I saw the set I got from darkwing, the Creator 3-in-1 Transport Truck for P 2,399.75. I got it from darkwing for only P 1,500. A P 900 savings!

LEGO Blind Packages with Labels



A friend of mine, kiki09 (special mention nato), gave me a heads-up that Rustan's toy section had a large number of Series 4, 5, and 6 blind packages with some indicators what they contain inside. The white Series 6 package says 10, the sequence number of the Roman Soldier while the orange Series 4 says 'pest killer'. I know it's the Hazmat Guy (hazardous material) because of the size of his helmet. I confirmed the Roman Soldier by feeling for his spear.

Sadly, the Gladiator which I very much want to was sold last night according to Erick, the guy in-charge of the LEGO toys.

Let's open these and find out if they're really the Roman Soldier and Hazmat Guy.

Woot, I finally have the Hazmat Guy and I didn't pay any shark in ebay to get it. I almost did though. That's how desperate I was to get this guy.

Now, to hunt for Series 7 Galaxy Patrol and Aztec Warrior.

Lingaw man maghikap hikap didto and they don't mind. One of the salesladies confirmed that some people also complained about Play2Learn's no 'feel' policy. Naa pa diay gamay nabilin na Red packages, Series 7, sayang lagi wala na daw Galaxy Patrol ug Aztec Warrior. Ang Aztec Warrior nindot i-pares sa incoming Series 8 na Conquistador.

Samurai? Ninjago imo pasabot bai no? If yes, and if I were to buy just one model from this series, it would have to be 9441 Kai's Blade Cycle. kiki09 has one
