mao na ako plano bro!ahahaha pro 50mm doesnt auto focus on our d40's... shud i get 35mm?mahal man gud ni, sakit bulsa...hahaha who are using 50mm on their d40? can u give me feedbacks?hehehe and for the 18-200, im planning to just get a thirdparty lens... unsa na brand ang mas nindot?

murag di man maau ang experience sa mga third party na 18-200 bro..kay kasagaran na nko makit.an sa buy and sell section sa laing forum..and sa 50mm..paanad lang ka sa manual..payts nah..mas okay jd cya sa mga controlled na mga subjects..just my 2cents..hehe

i say PRIME lens....you forget about the 18-200 when you start using primes.

the only leaverage you get from a 18-200 from kit lens is the added range..they do have the same aperture f3.5-5.6 which makes it harder to get good photos at low light especially if it involves moving subjects ma blur na jud...in contrary the prime will give you extra wider opening which makes it more versatile in low light..downside lang ky fixed focal lenght ra...do big deal..you can use you "foot zoom" lol..

or maybe get another option: third party brand..Sigma 24-70mm f2.8, pwede sad 17-70 f2.8-4

ako!!! hehehe (tnx to 'erwinp').. ok raman ang 50mm.. satisfied ra ko. mga sobra 1 month nagud nko wla ma gamit ako kitlens.. nya iyang sharpness naa pud ika buga.. pasalamat sad ko nga di mu autofocus ang 50mm sa d40 ky napractice nko akong focusing skills.. hahaha.. ma tintal man gud kog autofocus pirmi labi na kung dali2x.. pero if given the chance, and money, mupalit sad ko ug 35mm.. ako pnakaganahan nga prime ky sigma 30mm 1.4 pero tumatagingting pd ang presyo.. hehe..

..anyways.. share nko today, ug sample shot nlng pud 50mm...
