ur point is taken...i understand. during my time ky ubos pod ang demand sa nursing pag graduate nako sa 1997 ky 2nd courser na pod ko adto. graduates from batches 1990-95 is the peakest at that time. wa ko experience sa pagka-tinuod lang. i only had a few months volunteership sa usa ka private hospital. to be exact 6 mos ra gani, on-call or reliever pa gyud ra na clase. i stop doing it at a point in my life and work for 1 yr. sa international telecommunication company. i thought i got no other choice at all...but then, i looked back na m heading nowhere....so ni decide ko take sa ako CGFNS, ask helped from family all over. i had the chance to apply for netherlands when the employer came to UV to conduct recruitment and just heard it from a church member of ours ra pod. so i grabbed the opportunity gyud. i got lucky and worked for them for 1-2 yrs. then english exams followed nalang pag work nako abroad.

diba same ra sad ni ako situation ninyo karon? d lang ta kasiguro as to how long will it stay this way this time. my waiting time ky 4-5yrs before ko nakapanukad. magdepende ra na kung unsay goal e-set sa taw sa iya kinabuhi. plus i never stop praying for my chances and it helped gyud.

Thanx. Frustrating jud kaau ang uban posts dinhi pero ang imo maka encourage jud. That's what we need at this moment. I always wanted to be a nurse when I was in elementary to highschool. Wala jud na sa akong mind ang mag work abroad sauna. Pero karon practical naman ang mga tao apil nalang sad nah sa reason why ganahan mag nursing. Kung dili lang underpaid ang nurses dinhi sa Pinas, dili na ko mangarap mag trabaho outside the country.

Same mo sa ako Ate.. She even went sa amo province para lang mag volunteer pagka Nurse coz lisod sad toh sa iya time and then maayo gani naka sulod jud cya ug hospital sa city.. Naka work sad toh cya sa office, before cya nag nurse kay wala lagi hiring au.

But now, she's in Ireland, dugay na cya didto naa sa gawas..
cya nag pa skul nako and she really helped us financially even until now..
and her waiting time is more or less the same with yours.


Nya karon, ako nasad nag wait.

But you're right! We need not worry.. God knows our needs and He will surely grant it in His time.

i feel sorry for those nurses na umeployed karon sa pinas. lisud jud ngeta work diha sa pinas...and im sure if only its easy to get a visa..daghan najud mi abroad.i havent finshed my nursing yet but i already have a job here which pays like a registered nurse here (australia.).thats how desperate they are for nurses here coz aussies hate nursing...they find it disgusting.lol! just cheer up girl...ur time will come.

i think it's not because daghan na nurses diri... tungod lang jud cguro na ang govt nato kai daghan na au corrupt.. meaning lisod na lifestyle and the best way is to go abroad and ang pabor kaayo na maka gawas daun are nurses....mao naman gud aim sa kasagaran ang maka gawas... kai lisod na life dri

you know mao daghan da pinoy nga graduates y work?? kay sunod2x man gud dayun, unsay uso hala mag tapok dayun.. wa nag think future.. nya pasanginlan ang govt.. haayy yap naa mistakes ang govrnment pero, mas naa mo sayup. kay huna2x gud ang u.s di naky sila mo kuha og nurses kay ang ila mga tao ma wad an nasad og work, kay nasubraan nah ang mga pag import nila og tao.. nya sa nman mo run lain sad nga countries, nya sa kadaghan ninyu ni grad og kato pa mga ni grad sauna, pila raman tawn ka hospital ang naa sa usa ka city?? sauna kusog ang nursing maka sulod sa gawas kay, gamay ra ang ni eskwela pero karun nag baha naman tawn mo mga inday.. ngita nalang mo lain nga job para maka move on mo.. eskwela nalang balik ..

m a nurse and has been working for 5yrs now dri sa US....its hard this time, infact pretty hard for all of us. Not a gud suggestion but if people want to risk it, then lets give them their chance. however, ayaw mo expect larga mo daun unless....bantugan na ka sa field that u hold YRS of experience para ma process imo work permit that will just take 4-6mos sa embassy.

kaning kalisod karon ky di ra man sa US and its a domino effect to the other parts of the world. wat is just different sa australia n NZ is naa sila pondo and regulated ila pagpagawas kwarta for support sa ila nationals. bahala ug nimahal sad sila as part sa effect but sure ang ila economy na working within sa ila limits. ang US karon ky as in HUROT ang reserve and bomerang namo balik taxpayers...

NURSES....think and think real hard!!!!

Amen to that pre! I assure you. Most nurses don't know anything about what you just said until now. Blinded kaayo sila about all the positive reviews which a large portion of it are hyped. Mga kabayan try to research about the horror stories pod oi aron ma balance2x ninyo. Not to burst anyones bubble here but its the truth.

bago pako nga nanurse, wa kayo koy masulti bawt sa situation natong mga nurses ron..... karon, wa koy paki oi kung akong work ky in line sa akong profession, basta sakto rag sweldo, payts na.... di pa ko ganahan experience ron, kwarta pa akong gihunahuna... haha..... peace out

na luoy btaw ko sa ako gf. perte intawn niyang pangita ug job dri na mu fit sa iyang nursing degree. ako wa jud problema coz im a computer engineer. daghan pa gani gusto mu pirate namo, kung puede palang tunga-on ang lawas.

so im trying to help her get a proper job, as of the moment nag call-center sa cya. if any of you can help, id be utterly grateful. tnx!

maypa mag internet business ka pre.. ako bitaw I graduated chem engg. influenced pod s parents pro its not my passion. After graduating change career dayon ko to computer kay mao man akong ganahan gyud.

I admit the first 2 years was a bumpy ride. Self study rko s programming and started my business with only $50.

Fast forward 2 years.. Got a pretty good programming skill.. Plus got several employees of my own. At least tabang ko sa pilipinas diba kay im giving opportunities to my fellow kabayans by giving them work.

Kamo mga nursing grads.. did u ever thought about what im doing here, helping the community? or ga huna2x lng mo sa inyong kaugalingon? No offense intended.
