but legitimate customers are carrying the burden of paying for the bandwidth. illegitimate vpn users, on the other hand, do not pay for bandwidth or maintenance of network equipment. the legitimate customers do.

but why would it be a burden when its not ours, we dont own the bandwidth, its free for everyone else to use. It has not been proven that the bandwidth of the legit customers is affected or diminished everytime a vpn user connects to the network...

Please recall your physics in high school. In order for 3G/EDGE/LTE signals to be delivered, signals stations would require a lot of power. Who pays for the power? Legit users. It is in no way free.

Your claim that legit users are not affected by illegal users is not even wrong, as it fails on a fundamental level. Telecom companies are now using FUP to limit the use of bandwidth because they are not able to supply the needs of their customers. This, in itself, is something that makes Telcos evil. But remember that only legit clients are limited by FUP. Illegal users/freeloaders are not subject to such policies. In what universe is that fair?

You can give excuses or use escape hatches all you want, but stealing bandwidth is illegal whether or not you believe that it is. You can paint Telcos as evil as you want, it does not make illegal bandwidth use via VPN less evil.

As long as it is not prohibited by the telco and as long as it is not stated in the law or any ordinance, VPN is still good... the legit users can cry all they want about their burden while on the other hand, the VPN users are browsing the internet with a smile... aaaand as they always say.... "life is unfair". indeed...

VPN is okay kay gina allow gud na, gi tagaan ug access.. pero hacking/stealing ug unsa pana nga manguha nga walay permiso kana lahi na jud na.

i do not fault the illegal users n this, not because i believe what they are doing is not illegal. i think its plainly wrong, the legit users gets to suffer. its like stepping on your neighbors. however i can not fault them because with the way things are here in our country who wouldnt find ways to get a service for free. i fault the telcos because their system allows. if they are able to invest in million of setting up the infrastructure they should also invest so their system cant be abused. theres always free loaders in this world, heck even in buy-n-sell section.
