try applying the rule of thirds pre...
coz the subject now is dead center...i think you can get better effect with the rule of thirds

la lang, in general it just makes a more intresting photo overall in most cases
its just an observation that in many many many cases following this treand seems to produce nice compositions
its not really a "rule" as it is a guideline you can try (some call it a compositional method).
its NOT WRONG if you dont follow it...
just that many find it easier to get better photos by following it...la lang...just mentioning it...hehe
