Just learned from the HR that Stream is not offering a vacation leave and a sick leave, rather they have an incentive leave. So, if you want to have an absent with pay, you have to earn it. I almost had a debate with the HR with regards to this, coz she said it is not mandated by law and as what I know it is part of the labor code. To cut the conversation with the HR, I just diverted the attention to my workmate and never asked questions again. Sometimes it is an advantage knowing many things especially in Law but, sometimes its also a disadvantage coz people will think of you as arrogant or condescending.

from what i know, automatically when a proby signed his regularization papers their will be 48hours worth of leave credits for what ever purpose,
SICK LEAVE - will be applied to its timecard when an agent is absent with medcert as to number of days, aside from that if agent is confined more than 5 days, agent has the option to file for sick claim with SSS just ask for a form at HR, stream will be crediting its payroll account on behalf of SSS.
Vacation Leave - when agent request for VL, it will be subject for approval depending on how many agents will go on leave, normally 2-3 days maximum beyond that it will be subject for PLA (prolong leave of absence)

every month an agent will have 8 hours additional leave credits and will be credited at exact hire date of the agent. for example an agent is hired on january 22 2009 , the agent will have additional leave credits every 22nd of the month..

really? are you an HR or something? Because when i ask the HR about this, i ask about VL and SL but she couldn't answer it and the only thing she was telling us was all about the SIL. Anyway, its still a disadvantage coz their is no definite leave credits for SL and its not convertible to cash like lets just compare it to CVG but anyway i still like stream and my account.
