is XOOm affiliated with Metrobank?
xoom.com has been getting a lot of complains already about their service. na swertehan lang gyud ka bro. kani first time pa gyud ni nahitabo namo. gitawagan namo ang xoom gabii and gikasab-an pud namog toda oi. we asked if we could talk to a supervisor, giingnan man hinuon mi "they're in a conference right now"... i mean hallerrrr would you leave your employees UNSUPERVISED?? so we got the impression nga namakak to ang agent.Originally Posted by Opyong
i'm not sure about that bro but what i'm sure about is that XOOM is affiliated with numerous banks.Originally Posted by Rance
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!

i used my checking account bro (echeck thru xoom) coz kung debit card gamiton kay mga $20 gyud ang fee kumpara kung mubayad ug check $7 ra. so after we did the transaction, wala pa g-deduct sa xoom ang $515.99 since it would normally take 5-10 business days for the bank to authorize such transaction (this was last thursday). ang problema man gud, right after i did the transaction, i decided to cancel it, so xoom doesn't have the right to take money from my account in the first place, cancel na gud.Originally Posted by omad
mao to naglagot ko kay yesterday i found out that they actually took the money from my account. i had a scheduled payment for my other bill on that day that unfortunately, didn't go through because na overdraft na hinuon ko. see what i mean? i could have used that money to pay my bill.
anyway today when i got home, i found out that they did imburse me the whole amount. so i guess everything's good for now.
we would never use XOOM anymore. tagam na mi.
we specifically asked the call rep should i do another transaction because we need to send the money anyhow, but she gave me wrong information. a xoom manager called me yesterday and apologized and said the two call reps were being reprimanded and will go through re-training and he said they'll try their best to speed up the refund. that day nasud ra balik ang kwarta.
ang problema didto way klaro ang call reps and not very well trained, unta ug things they cannot handle they forward to their manager and not deal with it themselves, wala unta to nahitabo.
asa man diay ng call center sa xoom? don't tell me US ky mahal biaya ang sweldo diri icompare sa pinas.
Pinas, tua sila tanan didto lol.
lolz Ahak aning xoom ako gyud kay naay nag gamit sa akong account(inside-job) and send the money to a certain:
Name: Jacquelyn Anne Franco
Address 1: 1913 Jose Abad Santos St.
City: Sta Mesa
State: Manila
Postal Code: 1016
------- na dili nako kaila... gi-inside job gyud ko nila may gani na cancel nako dayon kay bank account may gi gamit which is take a week to process... after the cancel is cleared id close my account....
they can be a SCAM to most people, and they CAN steal money without the account owner's authorization.
that's what happened to me.
