two of my fav prog rock songs come from not necessarily a prog rock band, but from my fav guitarist steve vai.. the songs 'attitude song' and 'fire garden suite'.. & coincidentally enough the drum track of these two songs are played by mike mangini, the current drummer of dream theater..

my fav all time song from DT would be 'stream of conciousness'.. i kinda prefer instrumentals than songs w/ lyrics..
