The title never say anything about a single scenario nga regular day to day conversation. Sorry I missed that.

Like I said the title is broad. And I chimed in whatever angles I could think of.

Title is "English speaking Filipinos - what's your opinion?" -artista, si Ingkong, mga trying hard, mga hinawayun, apil na maka-Filipino daw, tip of the ice-berg sa makaFilipino, etc etc etc

Okey so, articulate actors are okey to speak English--- because they're articulate and they're actors. Okey, what about local government officials

Nganu naabot ko ug artista "kay you said we are talking about regular pinoys in regular day to day conversations" ---ahhhh I missed this in the title. So actors are not regular Pinoys? I didn't know there is such thing as regular Pinoy and "not" regular Pinoy. They are still Filipinos covered in the title -subject line (English speaking Filipinos)

I will not argue about the proper way of being pro-Filipino at heart because that would be another topic, Ingkong!

You can agree or not agree with me and pick on my every little sentence. That's perfectly fine with me. But if I hit some people through whatever opinion or belief I have (my personal experience and observation), feel free to contradict. When you choose to 'post your reply' that means that's your floor at the moment.

I will not attack any poster... although I may say something either I agree or disagree on what has been posted. In this case, I am always willing to agree to disagree. Freedom of speech.... at the end of the day, there's a handshake and parting ways.

ok, so let's agree to disagree then. obviously, we have varying opinions on this matter --- so peace out. to be fair pud to the 'english-speaking' pinoys, mas maayo na lang pud ni sila ikumpara sa mga ispanggol (ie Mexicans) nga naa diri. kadaghanan ani nila (labi na illegals), dili gyud maninguha makat-on ug iningglis, ug dili gyud mu embrace sa American culture bisan na they work and live here. ga tuo ning mga tawhana nga Mexico ning America. call me racist, but that's a fact. but out of topic nana.

well it's ok for me. as long as ang taw di mag inarte ug magpa istorya ug english niya jud. i've encountered a lot of pinoys who talk to in english to me.naay uban tubagon nimo ug binisaya libakon ka. it's so sad some are so absorbed to the language.

Ingon ako bestfriend nga naa sa Cebu, nagwork sa Parklane (excuse me na lang namatay raba ilang big boss), ingna lang kuno "pagchure diha oi!" then matching sway sa imong long shiny hair. Kung mura bunot imo hair, nitikig, skip that part na lang.

Grabe jud diay manaway, manglibaok ang Filipinos noh? Ug kung sawayun ug libakon perti pud dibdibon jud, dili katulog, dili kakaon, *manimaws pud ug saway..... like what other people think and say really matter jud.

That's why mingaw jud ko always sa Pinas.... kay mga tawo walay kaparehas.
