bro blade, im at jino's having dinner. Ang masuggest niya is to open the eqx, you should be able to see switch that lets you choose, 200ohms, float and ground. Just experiment with either settings. If that doesn't work, you may want to check the welds on the rca's na female. If ganahan ka na shop, you can try daw, Jefftronics or AC/DC. They should be able to check the unit.

    regards to all.

thank you sir john (and boss jino) sa advice...
i already opened the unit and checked for visual signs of damage (blown resistors or leaking caps) but found none.
the switch you mentioned is set at the "ground" position (but i didn't touch that switch when the unit was still in use). kalit lang naa'y static so akong gitangtang. wala na ko audio processors ron, just my hu and 2 amps.

@blade could it be possible that its your rca causing the problem coz it happened to me i thought it was my equalizer but it was my rca causing the problem.[br]Posted on: May 15, 2008, 08:04:09 AM_________________________________________________@ baluyotxp is gino still bc? or does he accepts jobs now? last time i went, there was still 3 cars being worked on and a volkswagen kombi being restored. im gonna have my door panels customized.

thank you sa advice bro... i already checked all my interconnects (rca's and speaker wires) from the hu to epicenter to eqx to amps to speakers. problem still persisted so what i did next was to bypass each active component until only the hu and amps were left. when i finally bypassed the eqx, voila! no more static c",) i'll have another look inside and play with the switches as sir john and boss gino adviced.
