- human rights violator(gi hurot sa afp ang MILF, and the killing of bobby dacer)
** BTW... GMA is also charge with human rights violation.
- kawatan (tabacco tax misuse, remember this issue?)
** And GMA is also charge with offense similar to this one.
- midnight cabinet( w/ matching majong na ang patad moabot ug 5million)
- puppet( bogo man thats why daghan ug advisors)
- charged with economic plunder which carries the penalty of reclusion perpetua, or death. it's a capital offense and not just some petty wiretapping crap!

If we filter out the list... you one got 5 offenses that is damaging to the Philippine institutions. All items in bold are just his physical defects that may be damaging to the presidency but not other institutions. Kong kanang 5 kong wala na ni gawas nga issue... dili jud siya ma impeach bisan onsa pa niya ka pul2x. wala na... please add more kay layo ra kaau na sa akong lista na dili personal against GMA.

we must acknowledge a simple fact; that neither GMA or ERAP (along with Ramos, Cory, Marcos and all the presidents that ever came before him) can ever represent the interests of the vast majority since they come from the very same ruling clique that has dominated philippine politics since time immemorial. it is basically the interest of this small group of people which happens to be contradictory to the interest of the vast majority that will come first to their mind. all the sweet projects and empty rhetoric is to wet the issue down, to soften the ire of the public.

we must also realize that all these allegations, if proven to be true, were done not out of simple unadulterated greed, but because it was necessary to maintain their position at the top; them along with the whole ruling clique. schisms develop within this clique because each wants a larger share of the pie, which could enable them to control everything for the benefit of their own interests.

it would be plain naivete to fight amongst ourselves in deliberating who did the worse damage. it is simply irrelevant. what is worse, what actually follows is that we tend to see the person who made the lesser damage as the lesser evil. and we know very well how much we are suffering because we swallowed the 'lesser evil' argument, hook, line and sinker during the last elections.

it is about time that we define our interests as a people, and not follow through the templates that either faction of the ruling class provides us. we know as per experience that IT SIMPLY DOES NOT WORK. GMA and Erap are prime avatars of this failure.

reject this reality and we will continue to hold impeachment deliberations, rallies, People Power uprisings part infinity, and discussions like this. this should have been a lesson learned at the first people power.

it is adamant that we learn this lesson NOW.

aside from that, is the need to recognize the fact that GMA and ERAP are only the figureheads of the problem. they are the obvious representations of the corrupt political culture of the elite that must be eliminated if we are to move on.

yes, they should be held accountable for everything that they can be convicted of. yes, there should be no distinction if your IQ is 140 or less than 70. but this is just irrelevant during these times.

we remove figureheads but we do not remove the roots that sustain this structure. we chopped off heads of state but we fail to address the vile institutions that produce them.

i do not personally concern myself much with determining whose crimes are of more weight. for what reason? and how would it be useful? we have a more urgent problem than comparing the dirty hands of two presidents; a problem that calls us to analyze precisely why corrupt presidents who fail time and time again to uplift this nation get elected again and again.

this impeachment complaint against GMA offers us a prime opportunity to reassess the mistakes we have made when we toppled ERAP, as it breaks up the moral ascendancy and triumphalism of GMA's faction of the ruling class. we should focus on this and not be entrapped again by the wiles of another product of the ruling class wanting to stay in power.

As to Gareb, its my ideal that this country will be run by idealist. Who value the government and will make an effort to strengthen the institutions. I remember in Eraps time 2 Cabinet members are former rebels, Horacio Morales of DAR and Edicio de la Torre of TESDA.

para nako bai ang main issue jud dili kong si GMA nakadaug ba pag-election... ang dakong pangotana nanikas ba siya og gigamit ang pundo sa Pinas para sa iyang re-election... Ang president nanumpa nga iyang proteksiyonan ang institution og ang constitution og siya ang magpatuman sa balaod. Base sa accusation siya mismo ang ga-bastos sa atong constitution. Maybe wala na kaau ni gi-value ang atong election... para nako bai naa gihapon value... kay kita nga ultimo ra nga Pilipino mao ra tawn ni nga higayon nga kita tanan patas nga sa matag election tag usa2x ra ta ka votes...
