I did not even know Iloilo was once called a Queen City of the South. If it was, it no longer is recognized. Dethroned and stripped off the title.

The fact is, Cebu is the reigning Queen.

i think iloilo is the queen's city of the south. notice the apostrophe. the spanish queen bestowed her that title for her loyalty to spain.

Gi uli naman na sa mga Cebuano ang title sa mga Ilonggo. We have no problems with Ilonggo, they have a wonderful province with beautiful faces(Ilongga akong ex).heheheh. The only problem is that people are still recognizing Cebu as the Queen City. Wana tay ma hims ana. Disad na sah sa mga Cebuano kai gi promote man sa Manila ang Cebu as such.

personally wa jd ko kabaw nga queen city pd d.i ang iloilo..but so far income and industry wise - cebu man jd ang leading between nila..infact kadghan rag taga iloilo nga dri nag work..it only goes to show nga mas progressive jd ang cebu..^_^
