sakto si choyadgreat it looks like M. greshakei aka zebra complex pero mora ug cross bred ni siya ug kenyi, ang Labeotropheus fuelleborni and trewavase the upper lip extends further.

It is better to crowd the tank if you are keeping Malawi mbuna fishes just make sure you have enough O2 in the tank so put more airstones its the same thing if you keep Tropheus from lake Tang.

The cheapest way to feed your fish is to make your own fish food for herbivore try the Shrimp Mix Tropheus/Mbuna Shrimp Mix Food there are lots of variation in this food I used to add Salmon, and for carnivorous fish you could just use beef heart mix with Liver SimplyDiscus.com: Foods and Nutritions: Recipes all of this you can find online and for the guy who cant keep angelfish fry, try hard boiled eggs the yolk just take a tiny bit and rub between your fingers or place it in a small jar and shake it with water.

CR6 will make you fish color up but would kill them if you overdo it, I believe this has hormones in it, another side effect of this is the fish would get sterile, one good thing is, if you have a tank full of mixed female peacocks and Victorians you can feed this to your fish and would be able to distinguish w/c females belong to w/c males.

Archocentrus nigrofasciatus aka canvict cichlids are only aggressive if they start breeding but then if you put a lot of them in a small tank you will still be able to keep them and would sometimes breed, but a lot of the other fish would be torn up, the theory behind this is there are to many fish for them to chase and they wont be able to concentrate on one particular fish.

Sometimes you are able to breed fish even though the water parameters are not exactly the same as in the wild as long as you have both sexes and sometimes a lot of luck, currently i am breeding Plecos from South America but I am using the same water as my African cichlids w/c is slightly hard straight out of the faucet, with the addition of dechlorinator.

If you need more information on other Cichlids try this site Cichlid-Forum.com

I only have a few Cichlids left and I don't think you would want any of them ang daghan nga naa nako ay electric yellow "Labidochromis caeruleus" they are F3 I used them to get rid of my snail infestation kanang Malaysian trumpet snails, on the Tanganyikan fish pila nalang ka klase and I dont have any fry available, I might be able to get fish from fellow fish club members but it would end up mahal kay dollars man ang presyo, try to figure out what you guys like and I will look for them, search for online sellers from Southern California "LA and Orange county" I think plants are much easier to transport.

If you make shirt for the Cebu Cichlid Enthusiast, Ill take a medium or Large and a few Xl para pasalubong sa manga Kanu nga hilig ug isda.
