Bai you need to read, gamay na tiyaga , may sabaw hehehe.

Boardlot __> amo na ang imong puwede lang ma palit na share

example: CMP 4.05 the Boardlot is 1,000 share.

if you want to buy CMP, your only allowed to buy 4,050.00 pesos minimum purchase equivalent to 1000 share..... puwede higher basta always thousand like 2,000 or 5,000 or 10,000 or 11,000 or 99,000 or 200,000 of share. dili ka maka palit og below 1,000 example 900.00 or 1,200 or 99,400 share . kay lisod ma baligya ang dili ka maka sunod sa boardlot.

If I may answer your question, on the basic level it's a YES. The main difference with the game is that your using
fake money. Although there are special features in some trading firms such as latest news, foreign activity (buy/sell),
P/E ratios, company disclosures, charts & even analysis (TA & FA) that are available on the same trading window
giving you all the tools you'll need for a more informed decision.

When you trade, your proceeds go to/from your settlement account which is indicated in your trading account. For example, CITISECONLINE settlement accounts are in Banco De Oro while BPI Trade is with BPI. Although there are differences e.g. process for withdrawal (by FAXed request or online fund transfer) , posting of proceeds (Time + 3days or immediate) among others.
