srsly am I gonna reach even the first boss? That's the start of the game at lunatic mode, description got it right-for weird people, better stick to easy.

Shoutouts to some people:

The organizing staff: I'm glad you held the event very well. This one had a much greater turnout than when I was still heavily involved the previous two years. Congratulations! Hopefully there's still more years for Otakufest!

Mr. Timezone regular: Damn 30+ streak on the PS3 Tekken booth! Next time I'll be sure to bring my stick. Bring yours too and teach me stuff! Gisulit gyud ang singko!

KOF cosplay group: AWESOME!!! Seriously, you beat the Hollywood bastardization!

Dual acoustic guitarists: You guys are always awesome. I just suggest you get guitars with pickups so you get better audio out of your fingers.

Other bands: Great playing overall. Made the best out of some poverty sound equipment.

Kuya Buboy: Thanks for the lighting during the night!

Cosplayers/costrippers: LEVEL UP! General cosplay quality really stepped up! Great hype on the event too!

Thanks for all the people involved one way or another on this event! It was certainly a great experience!

First of all, ganahan lang ko mu-share sa experience sa akong first Otaku Fest. Although wala jud koy right nga mu-rant, pasensyahi lang ko kung sa tan-aw ninyo kay naka-offend na ko.

1.) Wa ko ganahi sa weather. Nag-rainshower gamay pero nagpadayon jud ang event. Usa to sa factor nganong gamay ra ang nangadto compared sa population DAW pag last year. Nganong 50 pesos man ang entrance? Basig usa sad to sa factor nga gamay ra ang nangadto. Peace.

2.) Saludo ko sa mga volunteers especially ni ate Arra and Ellen. Bisag wa mi nakabenefit sa electricity usage, our booth went smoothly without flaws.

3.) Oh shi-, nag-expect baya kong dako ang stage para sa program for the event. Pero sige lang, wa man sad ko naka-explore kaayo. Nalingaw kos mga yabag og tingog sa concert2x. Laughtrip ang show. Murag hubog ba.

4.) The cosplayers were so admirable. Idol to nako ang nag-Kamen Rider nga costume, katong si Mio sa CCC, og katong nag-Mai sa KOF. Damn, daghan jud kog nakit-an nga nagcosplay og characters from Code Geass. Though wala kaayo ko naka-take og pictures nila(kay gidala sa akong ate ang camera), some comrades of mine managed to take pictures of me with the Kamen Rider dude and Mio babe.

5.) Ang mga booths sad, nalingaw ko sa outcome. Wala ko ga-expect nga gamay ra ang nag-display og mga toys and anime merchandise. Hapit sad to mahurot among baligya oy and ang manga cafe kay wala kaayo mu blend sa timpla sa mga tawo. Mga japanese magazines ang tirada sa mga girls.

Mao raman siguro na akong ma-say about sa Otaku Fest for this year. I do hope nga daghan pang Otaku Fests to come.

^Dude, the mass of people this year was much greater than the previous events! I took one look at around 3 pm I was shocked to see this many people attending the event, AND COSPLAYING! Every year somehow the weather teases with showers, and on the first year actually forced the sound equipment to the little shelter area in the conference building steps.

Also, every year we try to amass funds for a better setup like sound system, stage, atmosphere and design etc. but getting sponsors for an unproven (Yes, I still believe this is not a staple) event is harder than you might think. Sorry wala mi kabuhat sa supposed Carnival feel this year, but nonetheless it felt quite festive didn't it?

EDIT: Also, last year's entrance fee was also 50 pesos.
