one thing thats obvious too is its hard to compete sites with authority

Consistency and Diversity is the key. give it 6 months. Consistent backlink efforts and Diverse approach.

What do u mean? Meaning when a site is number one, what sales is expected from that site? If thats the question, frankly i dont know. I never rank a site for myself selling goods. I only rank sites for clients as thats the business im in. Clients varies response, some report increase of sales around 400% some just keep quiet lol.

Being on top on SE does not guarantee increase on sales, maybe traffic yes. But being on the top 10 or 5 the competition goes down to which has the better prices, better customer service, and a lot more factors. So in IMHO being 1 is the same as being 3, 5 or 10 when we're talking about sales.

So s this ur site? Can it take a Tsunami of articles? I can post tons of articles from my clients if it can and when backlinks are intact. Seems the layout isnt that good.
