ERUF is important to mandaue for the simple reason that emergencies and disasters are not common events. If these are uncommon, ordinary folks will not know how to react nor will they know how fast they should react. We must have a small body of people specializing in handling or responding to emergencies and disasters. We all value our lives as we value the lives of our loved ones. We need to be assured that we have specialists and dedicated people to respond to us in cases of emergencies - in our homes as we toil daily to earn our living.
PAET! ngano d mani nila ma huna hunaan pag ayo! sa kaayuhan ug kaayuhan ra jud tawn!

Very well said, nag nose bleed gud ko ug kadyot But seriously speaking, ERUF is humanitarian work and there should no longer be any question why it should be there in mandue because it's SUPPOSED to be in the Mandaue in the first place.
