Depende gyud sa personal preference. If looks matter or not.

Here's what I think. Physical attraction is still the first thing you see in a person because we're all not blind. The first time we meet somebody may it be at school, or in an organization, or in a jeepney or at the mall or through a friend... we don't close our eyes and say hi nice to meet you. Who doesn't like to be with beautiful women or handsome men? Hoping that behind that physical beauty is a good heart. That's the reason why showbiz sells... we like looking at beautiful and handsome men.

But then we check reality. Setting an ideal especially with looks brings a question "are you beautiful or handsome too"? This is the physical attraction stage. But it's not always the case. There are some instances where physical requirement is skipped. We see the real person inside, we're attracted to their personality and character. So what happened to the physical requirement? Can we really skip it? Yes we can. We ignore the fact if he/she is pretty/handsome or if he/she is not very physically attractive.

Notice how we don't notice a person and then suddenly we get to see the real him/her and then we look at him/her the second time and say he/she is very attractive? That's then we see the whole package.

Our society's definition of beauty is outwards... but really... true beauty is both inside and out. Out doesn't necessarily mean physical beauty but it comprises of how one carries himself... how he treats people around him... his principles in life... everything that involves his outside world.

Therefore I agree that saying lamang ang physical beauty kaysa attitude is immature. Every man needs a good woman. Eventually, inig ka dugay, mogawas gyud ang tinuod nga requirement, harmony and peace sa relationship... and matiguwang ra tang tanan. In fact, kanang pretty/handsome stage doesn't last very long. Mga guys managko ang tiyan, mga girls mo gain weight or magka wrinkles. Way makaikyas ana.

Agree with Ms. Beau, what it really boils down to is still attitude. Why? your attitude will carry you through life and your threshold for anything that comes your way. Its not about competition. Its all about values learned and principles your parents might have ingrained in you and you carried on forward to adulthood. Mao na importante kaayo nang mga formative years sa mga bata. They surely learn and pick up from that. People with good attitude are the most successful people in life and they have great people skills to carry them through because they see everyone eye to eye. They're not narrow or close-minded. They know how to deal with persons at all levels. They motivate, encourage and never discourage. They'll raise you up instead of bring you down

you cant deny it that what attracts you first is the physical appearance of a person.
then here comes attitude, as you get along...
so if nakaayon ka sa batasan, den go.. if wala den ayaw...
