yay...mao ba
yay...mao ba
just started with my first week of training...and i like it - - very much.
i guess, all i can say is that depende rjud cguro sa tao kung ilang mapangitaan ug bati ang company and if that's the case then mapangitaan jud ug bati...but if kung gnahan ka mka kita ug nindot, makakita man sad jud ka.
ako ma say about xlibris...it's true jud na it's HARD WORK and that you always need to FOCUS. you don't get paid for nothing. you'll be bombarded with exams and all. dako jud xag pay but expect lang sad mu na ang compensation kai igu rasad jud mka compensate sa hard work that you've put in. so for people na are in it for the challenge then this is the to-go-to place but if you're just in it for the money and expect an easy life then heed the other istoryans' warning, this will not be the best place for you.
peace!
i just want to comment with thE statement ABOVE actually thats how they confuse you!! they claim your starting is 22 for an agents position yet you dont have allowances and night diff and others so THE TRUTH IS you end up getting a HIGHER PAY with other companies.22 starting is a mean joke as you will eventually see in your payslips they dont even enumerate your deductions. Try to ask them and youll find out the hard way. The add-ons that you most blatantly ridicule are what makes the job better nightdifferential, allowances, bonuses (except for sales of course), overtime, etc with exlib theyll say its already pre computed so you are not getting any of that. the fact IS that their "precomputation"is bougus. wisen up check your payslips ask where your deductions are going(ask Darlyn). BUT IF YOURE IN SALES AND YOU CAN REALLY SELL YOU MY FRIEND ARE LUCKY.and upon regularization they have one of the lowest pay increases ever. So if this is for you then go maybe it might just be worth it but be smart about it know your rights.
some of my classmates kay nag OJT HR position sa Xlibris. Nice daw training. Naa pa jud allowance if ka pasar sila sa test, i dunno unsa to nga test.
naa mo nahibaw-an aning xlibris? used to be located in mango square nya nibalhin sa banilad (blue blade).
based from the feedback of the people i know who work or have worked here, bati daw kaayo ug management. naa pud instances nga dili bayaran ang ilang mga OT. and if mu-work sila ug holiday kay dili bayran sa sakto nga holiday premium. and sa payroll kay naa lang kalit iban sa sweldo nga muabot ug tag 4k pataas bisan walay absent or late. also, ang HR pud daw kay dili makatubag ug tarong when you ask them about these.
just wanted to let the people know kay para masayud tanan about ani nga company and if people in xlibris, especially the management can read this, they would hopefully do something about it..
your thoughts or own experiences perhaps? kay basin naa sad mo or people you know who work of have worked here have similar experiences...
hi there. yeah, i have a lot of friends who previously worked there as csr bcoz they were attracted with the big pay. 22k! yeah good pay, higher than any other callcenters are offering but the management is not good. they resigned jud daun.
and i myself had a very bad experience with them during their hiring process. i applied in a jobfair and passed all 3 interviews including 2 final interviews conducted by the employers themselves (americans). i was so happy since i passed everything. they didnt conduct an exam during that jobfair. one hr personnel said that i passed and then i was given a schedule for an orientation the next two days. when i arrived there at their site, the said sched was for exam! goshhhhhh. since i was there, i just took the exam and it was so easy. so i said sure shot il pass. but u know what they didnt call me in a week, two-weeks, three-weeks! until i gave up. when i started to work for a callcenter, they surprisngly called me up and said i was hired! grrrrr.. bUt hell no xlib, nevermind. i really told the one who called me what took them so long to call me up. i ended up rejecting their offer. hehehhe.
22K!!! What an offer.
Well, I worked there last year with my boyfriend. We both got hired together. He was supposedly for SALES, but he dint wanto part from me [char]. So the story goes like this...
On our second week sa floor, I got terribly sick. My supervisor even took me to the clinic. A couple HR personnel even attended to me. Later that day, I wento see a doctor and was advised to rest for FOUR days. But when I got back to work, lo and behold, I was told that was my last day already. I talked to my supervisor and she said she wouldn't and couldn't vouch for me, because she "has not really seen me perform." Pasabta ko!
The ff day was processing of clearance. I talked to the HR head -told him I have all documents regarding my absence and that my sup knew about each night I was gone. He said they have checked with her and she has denied having known about my absences [that lying woman!]. So just to end it all, I stopped fighting back and told myself to forget about it. Useless medical certificate. In my head, I was cursing the sup. [I mean, who wouldn't?]
And here is my boyfriend's story:
A few weeks after my "termination", he got "hired" to be a trainer. He was already so into his job and I was starting to forgive Xlib of what they did to me when another unfateful event occured. He's been training newbies [for what, almost two months na?] when he got told something so definitely unclear nga hasta cia wa cia kasabot unsaon pagpasabot nako. Along with two other newly-hired trainers, he was told they were to be sent back to the floor for the time-being and that they will re-train after a year. Get that, AFTER A YEAR. Pasabta na sad ko!
He talked to his sup [w/c was also my ex-sup] and told her his thoughts about the company and all that. Nihilak daw ang sup pag ingon nia muresign nlng cia ky y claro. The sup told him that she'd hate to see good people go.
Mao na xa ang story nako ug sa akong uyab dha sa xlibris. They attract you witha big pay to cover up for what's going to happen to you once you're in. Sakto ba? Ay ambot lang, basta they will never hear anything good from me. Labi na karon nga hasta akong clearance d nila irelease. I've been calling them for months now and ipasa-pasa lang ko. Ug muadto sad ko didto, ingnon ta nga I have to call. Lain man sad kaau ug magscandalo ko didto. There was even one time I called and got angry to the poor lady who answered ky gisapot njud ko ana ila pasa-pasa. Nagkuha na lang ko ug affidavit of undertaking ky d man jud nako makuha akong clearance.
Xlib? capital X for me.
I applied there a few months as a copy editor but I didn't pursue my application,I received messages from them a couple of times but for one I don't like night shift (I just got a new job, that time).... maybe I would like the professional growth I'd get from the teams. It has left me wondering how it is working for xlibris....
kinsay copy editors diri?
base sa akong nabasahan..tragic lagi ni nga company...
tsk3
ako amigo ky copy editor xa for ten months then niresign ky wa na daw lami. hehe.
