an update on my new setup

1st rig

this question goes to everybody. im just wondering.. with all these nice powerful rigs.. do you just play games with them? or you guys actually do something that actually involves crunching the power out of your rigs. like video editing or 3d animation. coz if you guys aren't.... what a waste coz u could make money out of your fast rigs you know.

If I were to use a pc for video editing or 3d animation, I'd rather invest my money on a top of the line G5 PowerMac plus a 30 inch apple cinematic HD display. lol. I bet these guys use their expensive rigs for gaming too. lol. ^_^

Hehehe yeah a G5 with dual core! pyter kaayo rendering. our company has 5 of it here. ako kay 3ds max man so i cant settle for a mac kay d pwe.d ang max sa mac. =( maya unta kay pwe.d pero im not used to the maya interface. pero if these guys play hardcore with their rigs then that really gives them the edge. eye candy man sad gud na gud. but then again what is hardware if you lack the skills. but then again they got money to spend so i respect that.

why do people spend alot of money for car audio when theres a law that you can only play car stereo upto certain decibels and could get a ticket if you play it louder than that?
why do people modify cars to make it run faster when the fastest allowable speed on the highway is only 75MPH?
why do people buy corvettes,ferrari or mercedes benz when a toyota corolla will do the same job bringing them from point A to point B?
you guys get the point?
its not always about money.not everybody builds computer(i wont even call it an investment) for the sole purpose of making money out of it.its a leasure just like watching TV.its there to entertain.(atleast for me it is).and yes.im a very big online player and i do play games on my PC.i also used to work for a videocard company designing video card boxes.
