Bro, need your help, please . . . for use by my son - set up to play NBA 2k15:

1 set with Intel processor and 1 set with AMD processor

With cost (or estimate), if possible, for comparison

    Name of PC store

(or maybe an upgrade of his present AMD set up he uses to play
    dota & nba 2k14)

    Thank you!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

    If it's a 1080p gaming, then i'd probably recommend R9 270x/280x or GTX 760/770.

For the processor, an intel i3 would be enough for gaming, an i5 would be the recommended one.

But before you opt to upgrade your rig, you need to upgrade your PSU first, you forgot to mention the PSU you're using.

What PSU you are using anyways?

thank you for the reply. I don't have budget yet for graphic card and processor now so can i buy graphic card first? or its useless if I wont upgrade the both?

PSU is power supply right? I have Thermatake model: LT-700AL2NL 700watts

Yes your PSU is enough to power up the R9 270x/280x or GTX 760/770. I was thinking you are using a Generic PSU that's why I ask you the PSU you are using cuz' a Generic PSU isn't enough to feed those hungry cards

What you need to worry now is your Graphics Card and Processor

    Good luck on your upgrade.

ug 2k14 ra ug dota, palit na lang ka ug video card. gtx 750ti should be enough. easier solution without too much expenses. even saves you the trouble of setting up anew.

    Happy New Year to All!!!!!

    Happy New Year, Bro!

Sorry if I have not been very clear with my post.

My son's present set up is AMD which he uses to play 2k14 and dota. Of course, he can't use it to play 2k15.

My request is for a set up using AMD or Intel so he can play 2k15. Please give me suggestions/recommendations for both set up (AMD and Intel) for comparison. I will just consider my options after I get your recommendation.

    Thank you.

your post was very clear. im sorry i have not been very detailed with my answer.

you want a setup capable of 2k15 and your solution is for either a new amd or intel setup. i have recommended an upgrade on the video card while maintaining your current setup. i could have recommended a whole new setup but since you did not indicate your budget, i recommended otherwise. BUT, either way, i still would have given a setup with a capable video card kay diha man gud mag-agad kung unsa nga games imo maduwa sa imo system. second ra ang processor.

I dont know what your current specs are but whatever the setup may be, adding a modest video card will improve the gaming capability. There might be bottleneck in the procie but the improvement will still be in exponential scales. Mopalit ra man ka ug video card either way so unaha lang to. 750ti is my best bet since wala nimo gi sulti unsa imo psu and budget.

Kung wala ka makuntento sa changes, baliki lang mi then tell me i wrong. (mo sorry ra man gud ko. ) jk.

    Seriously, ana lang sa.
