Currently reading "WORKING ON A NEW PLAY"(Hardcover) by Edward M. Cohen.
It's a handbook for theater play development ideal for actors, directors and writers. Bought it from La Belle Aurore Bookstore. Been skimming through the chapters, learning a lot, finding some key phrases that I would enjoy sharing to friends. . . when I placed this book on my shelves, I realized I've been buying a lot of "textbooks" on writing and directing-- my mini-library geared to working theater and film.

City of Thieves by David Benioff. from chapter 15: "Since the war began I had read hundreds of accounts of the country's heroes in action. All of them refused to acknowledge they were heroes...When asked in interviews why they had rushed the pillbox, or clambered onto a tank to drop a grenade down the hatch, all responded that they hadn't even thought about it...Perhaps a hero is someone who doesn't register his own vulnerability. Is it courage, then, if you're too daft to know you're mortal?"
