so there's this "tree plantation" that was started about 30-40 years ago. residents of this poor town back then were paid meager wage by govt people so that they'd get hundreds of those little trees planted. because of the kadugayon of those trees, birds came and made the trees their home.

fast forward to today, this tree plantation is supposedly for harvesting (actuali more than 5 years ago pa), but the project kept stalling because of inefficiencies. sadly for the townsfolk (nga poor gihapon hangtod karon), they cannot harvest those trees anymore becauuuuuse treehuggers are opposing it. they don't want those trees cut down becauuuse where will the birds go? (they say). bottom line for them: bahala na ang mga pobre nga naghulat kanus-a makakuwarta sa ilang gipangtanom, basta dili lang maunsa ang mga birdies. pagka.
