Purchases thru craigslist is that you must have to pay and transact in person.. that's why you have to query what you need and what product you want to buy near to your area (like within 10-20 mi around you).. they usually post with their contact number and address.

i suggest using craigslist only when the person you're having transaction with provides you with a complete address and phone number (assuming you're the buyer) and it is within reasonable distance.
