You keep repeating the word PERJURY... well that is the only escape you can think off......
Well you can tell that to Atutubo, Mascarinas, Atienza, Mike Defensor, and Razon....
They all committed PERJURY...
that is where the problem is. yes, FG's name is dragged into the picture...BUT what if Abalos just name-dropped FG? it is because Lozada did not directly hear FG saying those words, but from Abalos...and that is clearly called a hearsay.Originally Posted by ajol
well, i could say u r correct.Originally Posted by ajol

who said i defended them? kaw ra cguro ga assume.
Well As TOLD by LOZADA.... FG ate dinner with them at makati shangrila..... "OKAY NA LAHAT" -ABALOS said to FG..... that is not hearsay..... that will show proof ABALOS was not name dropping.... FG was physically present......Originally Posted by giddyboy
can you think of something better to allow FG and abalos to escape.....
kapoya balik2x oi. kad2 ba part sa akoang example bah. dat was hearsay, not that dinner part which is not. wa ghapon ka kasabot?Originally Posted by ajol
that part where Lozada only saw Abalos talking supposedly to FG over the phone cannot be valid link to FG, BUT that part where he met Abalos and FG in dinner can be a valid testimony to link FG.
anyway, it is up to the senate to sift over the details on all the testimonies if they corroborate or not, if somebody lied or not...
don't get me wrong, im not defending FG or Abalos. im just pointing out a perspective, that's all.
if u happen to read all my post in this thread, im on the critical and analytical perspectives on the issue at hand, and not on either side of the admin or opposition on this matter...
i suggest u don't defend the opposition too much (if u are an avid opposition supporter)...leave something for critical and analytical thinking. that goes to those admin supporters also.
Now this Mr. Lozada is saying the Southrail project overpricing na sad kuno.. ataya gyud ni tawhana nag sige rag istorya with no hard evidence maayo pa mag talk show host ni sya daghan pa siyag fans dres istorya.net hehe.
Govt may file perjury case vs Lozada family
http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/storypage...StoryId=109056
The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) may file a perjury case against the family of Rodolfo "Jun" Lozada Jr. based on affidavits submitted by government officials allegedly involved in the Senate star witness's disappearance and surfacing last week.
Solicitor General Agnes Devanadera on Wednesday said that a perjury case may be filed against Lozada’s family in relation to petitions of writs of habeas corpus and amparo filed before the Supreme Court.
Devanadera said that the petitions were filed February 6 despite the fact that Lozada's reunion with his family the day before.
She said that based on still shots taken from the closed-circuit television camera of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Lozada was not held against his will upon arrival from Hong Kong on February 5.
"One of the pictures has...Jun Lozada walking in the airport...he was texting...So hindi ko makita 'yung duress doon and I don't think pictures will lie (I don't see duress in there...)," she said.
Devanadera's statement came as top government officials went to the OSG to submit their affidavits to belie Lozada and his family’s claim that the newest star resource person of the Senate investigation into the broadband-ZTE scandal was allegedly kidnapped by government authorities.
Police Director General Avelino Razon Jr., airport security chief Angel Atutubo and Senior Superintendent Paul Mascariñas of the Police Security Protection Office were among those who filed their affidavits.
The officials, along with Environment Secretary Lito Atienza, testified during Monday’s Senate hearing and said they only assisted Lozada as he sought protection from death threats.
Devanadera said they will prove to the Court of Appeals that there was no basis for the issuance of the writs. The Supreme Court tasked the appellate court to conduct a summary hearing on February 14.
She said that aside from the affidavits of government officials, her office possesses sufficient evidence, including pictures and video.
On Thursday last week, the high court granted the petition for a writ of amparo filed by the brother of Lozada.
Court spokesman Midas Marquez said the high tribunal granted the petition filed by Lozada's brother, Arthur, after the government official was fetched allegedly by police officers upon his arrival at the NAIA on the afternoon of February 5.
"In [the writ of] amparo, we want to know if Lozada was indeed taken against his will and if there is a continuing threat on his life and liberty," Marquez told radio dzMM.
Lozada's brother filed the petition last Wednesday after learning that the Senate witness had met his wife, Violet, "as proof of life" but was taken away again.
Lozada’s wife had also asked the high court to issue a writ of habeas corpus to force the police to produce the government official. Marquez said the court has ordered respondents in the separate petition for writ of habeas corpus to submit their comments.
Meanwhile, Razon denied reports that the police is hiding Rodolfo Valeroso, the person who allegedly fetched Lozada as he disembarked from the plane from Hong Kong.
Razon said Valeroso also went to the OSG Wednesday to submit his affidavit. Razon said the former Army master sergeant refused to be seen by media.
just take this writing from Monsod... Or Transportation and Communications Secretary Leandro Mendoza trying manfully, and woefully, to justify the national broadband network (NBN) project of ZTE Corp., forgetting (or choosing to ignore) that Senator Roxas had already torn the argument to bits at the previous Senate hearing. In Mendoza’s “layman” terms, the project would save the government P4 billion a year (the budget for telecommunications expenses) and it would cost a little over P1 billion a year in interest and amortization, with five years’ grace. This, despite the fact that Senator Roxas had already pointed out that the P4 billion included costs of cell phones, international calls, calls from government offices to private offices, which would continue even with the NBN-ZTE project completion -- since the broadband is only for government-to-government communication inside the country.NBN is beneficial unta. but unsaon man nga wa may klaro diay ni...plus alleged overpricing pa jud.

SOLITA MONSOD -
But the question of the hour is: What is Benjamin Abalos’ HOLD over Malacañang that he was able to get President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to overturn her own policy that telecommunications projects should be done on a build-operate-transfer basis, and to replace projects like police and military housing with a broadband project that economists criticized as not only overpriced, but unnecessary?
