hm.. i use both IE and firefox

mka use lang ko sa IE if kailangn ug ActiveX components ang site.

but for all other else like research, friendster, mails, etc..
Firefox is what i really recommend

in my system i only got an anti-virus..

firefox with NoScript...it really help on spyware...

IE 6 ---> better upgrade to IE 7 .... but if you'll ugrade see to it that you have a valid license of your windows os.

choose between IE and Firefox?

as a webdesigner/webdeveloper. I use both. because I need to see the websites I am designing or developing to make sure that the websites has no errors in terms of their layouts, scripts and etc.

But if someone will use my pc... anybody except me... I highly recommend them using Firefox. why? I don't want my pc to get caught with anything. viruses, malwares, spywares.. and etc. In the end... they will not be the one who will reformat my pc. It's me. Prevention is better than cure. hehehehe...

some tips...
There are also some softwares you are installing that have 3rd party sponsors. Some softwares, when you are installing... gives you the option whether to install a certain toolbars or not... ex.. yahoo toolbar... If you opted to say yes... ... after you have installed the software... you can see in your browsers... IE or Firefox... that there are some changes ... (some additionals.. -- particularly the toolbar) ... (in my own idea) DON'T OPT TO INSTALL THE TOOLBAR. why? because I have heard that some viruses may pass through your toolbars to your pc. I don't know if this is true.. but for me? I rather not use the toolbar... what's the use of it anyway? they'll just give me shortcuts to something that will somehow convert to their profits? bwhahahahaha....

firefox.... bisan if out of town ko, and then mo rent ko og computer sa internet cafe like netopia, i always sa magbantay sa internetan if there is a firefox... naanad kog firefox...

pero naka bantay ko bah... kung mag gamit ko ug IE and firefox one time sa yahoo pool, mas dako lagi ug memory usage ang firefox? naay naka sulay pud ani?
