Nothing I'm going to write or say will suffice to do justice to what you just accomplished, the event was far from perfect, far from what most of you wanted it to be, but with the vast reservoir of goodwill, selflessness, and dedication that I saw and observed, the first one will just be but a footnote to how great your future shows will be. I cannot help but mention a few names that left indelible marks in the event, there was Kent who seemed to have been everyhwere rallying everyone from day one, Richie who although came a little late into the preparation more than made up for it in his efforts, Allan who between preparing his lone entry and his very busy work schedule still found time to do much of the advertising work for the team, Simon who almost had to have another surgery to repair a previous one for lifting so much weight in preparing the venue, Rainier who despite his very busy schedule as head of the family and bread winner still found time to put in extra hours to hang our banners througout the city, organize the team of marshal volunteers who were invaluable in setting up and policing the venue, Fidz who ably assisted in gathering entries, Raynan the giant of a man Mini Pin lover who professed his love for the rottweiler breed by singlehandedly dragging our borrowed portalets and tents over his shoulders to the venue, Jennifer who ably assisted and took care of almost all the administrative requirements and documentations for the event, Rosie who unselfishly gave up her Sunday despite here very busy work week to type our critique and take care of the registration, John who was by his lonesome selling our souvenir shirts and catalogue to help the club raise funds, Albert who ably assisted the tireless Edward Boon as Ring Steward under the scorching sun, Mr. Fred Alimusa who unselfishly stood that whole Sunday under that atrocious heat to act as judge, Jimmy whose vast experience and wisdom was repeatedly called to task in guiding the newbies. We came from all walks of life bound only by one thing in common - our love for the rottweiler breed. For a moment early on I thought that the rottweiler cause here in the Visayas is a lost one, but all of you made a believer out of me that it's not, and that YES CEBU CAN DO! We can rise above our biases, rise above petty squabbles, rise above our prides, rise above our differences and be as good as we can be AS ONE. To all of you, my heartfelt thanks and utmost respect.
Yours in the breed,
