opsss This topic turns to be about forumers crediblity issue already, which is of course out of topic.

Now back to the agenda pls

Is an impeachment complaint for Gloria Arovo only? If it is applicable to the oppositions dirty hands, then someone must also file an impeachment complaint for them, and not make any's dirt to void the impeachment complaint against gloria arovo.

OT: guys, can we have a mature and intelligent discussion for once. devoid of all the "hahaha, hehehe, lolz and the like"?, no more icons like " , , and similar others that resembles mocking".. it's just my humble opinion though.. but when exchanges become this interesting, let's get with the flow, not against it..

OT: ^^ that's the plea I made earlier for members to have some sort of respect to fellow members. but if you consider constructive criticism "nagging", then I don't know what that word means anymore..

with regards to the "grin" on my message icon, I've used that consistently right until now, except for my very first 10 posts in this forum, so I could easily find the "threads" I opened at the Buy and Sell section (which were cluttered that time before changes were made). I don't have to explain myself any further to you guys but that's for readers/guests of this thread to decipher if there was any malice with that icon.

‘Minority failed to prove GMA guilt’

The vice-chairman of the House justice committee on Wednesday said the opposition failed to prove that President Arroyo is culpable of the allegations listed in the impeachment case against her.

“In criminal cases, you have to prove how the crimes are committed and that the person is guilty of the allegations,” Ilocos Sur Rep. Salacnib Baterina said.

Baterina said the opposition has to be more specific in establishing Mrs. Arroyo’s guilt instead of issuing “generalized statements.” He said the impeachment backers could not directly connect Mrs. Arroyo to the spate of murders of journalists and leftist activists.

"If you accused her that 360 people died during her term how are you going to connect the crime directly to her? Whoever will look at the complaint should be convinced that she is culpable. But there is no connection,” he said.

Besides abetting political and media slays, the complaint filed in July this year accused Mrs Arroyo of culpable violation of the Constitution, corruption and bribery, betrayal of public trust, manipulation of the 2004 election results and suppression of freedom of speech.

He said establishing Mrs. Arroyo's link to the accusations is vital in determining the complaint's sufficiency in substance, which the committee will determine on Wednesday.

The justice panel is slated to deliberate on the complaint’s sufficiency in substance Wednesday.

House Majority Leader Prospero Nograles said he expects the panel to finish its deliberations in six hours. "At the end of the day, we might do the vote because all the issues are already clear. Everyone has said his piece. Some of the members already want to vote." he told DZMM.

He added that the Arroyo-backed majority still outnumber the minority in the justice panel, 2-1.

What will the impeachment trial bring to our country.

Answer: It will strengthen our democracy. It means the institutions are still working and no one is above the law even for someone who CLAIMS TO BE PRESIDENT.

IF Glue-ria is impeached Noli will succeed but the problem is Noli benefitted the cheating committed by GMA so I dont thin Noli should lead the country.

Lets accept it folks, they will trash the impeachment complaint again and the issue of Glue-ria Arroyo's legitimacy will not be settled. We will go back to square one. We will still have a divided nation. Let GMA face trial and let her cleanse her name if you want stability, if you want moving on.
