I stumbled on another AG forum thread (Hobbies Forum - Pepe's Airguns) boasting super-fine, Winchester-inspired AG rifles from Davao.

These AG rifles are made by a certain Mang Pepe.

It says there though that Mang Pepe no longer makes this kind of AGs.

Is there anyone here who knows the contact details of this great, great artisan?

As regards Armscor's air rifles, why should someone choose or not choose the retractable model?

In terms of handling and durability, how does the retractable model fare against the executive and the standard models?

Does the retractable model have wooden parts, too?

retractable are made of plastic ang metal parts.. i think one of our fellow group member i dunno if its here or in yahoo changed his stock from retractable to wooden stock..

Mga Sir, if you don't mind, magta-Tagalog na lang ako. Hehe.

Maliban sa nakakapagod ang springers at may recoil, ano pa po ba ang ibang disadvantage niya especially when hunting?

Wala naman po ako balak mag-compete later, so okay lang sa akin kahit hindi tuluy-tuloy/dire-diretso ang putok.

Hindi ba okay na masanay sa AG na may recoil? After all, sa totoong baril, may recoil naman talaga.

Please help.

scope is right bro when you intend to use springer AGs or what some termed as barrel cocking AGs kinahanglan imo gamiton nga scopes kanang para sa powder rifles dili kanang scopes nga para sa airguns. AG scopes are not designed to absorbed recoils. i have seen one already w/ my cousins AG, a barrel cocking Diana Airgun made from Germany, before i joined this kind of hobby. we mounted a scope unknowingly that is used for Air Rifles only. the next day we found out when i tried "zeroing" my desired target distance or range that it cannot be adjusted any longer. bisag unsaon nimo ug adjust dili na jud molihok iyang crosser.
