    its not a question wether we can afford it or not, of course we can afford it... the question is the implementation.. kung asa ang mas practical ug dali ma implement... last time i check trains requires track and tracks requires to constructed ahead before the trains can run.... if i remember when naa ko manila nagpuyo before (late 80's) thats the time when they started expanding LRT wala pay mrt that time... and that time Meralco pa ang operator sa LRT manila is not that congested yet... so wala kaayo problema.. now moving forward to MRT when they constructed grabe kaayo ang ka hasssle while construction sa tracks and thats couple of years...

    even manila is considering BRT kay mas practical ug economical sya... why go for headache when you can have peace of mind... so impractical ra ang MRT sa cebu... too many at stakes... while ang BRT is just drive and go..

    nakabantay ko, taga adlaw naay nay gilihok sa cebu. like sa kanang kanal. taga adlaw, new places.

    haha. unsa kaha sa after 5 years from now.

    hehe mao gani sugdan na dayun samtang dili pa in-ana kasamok ang cebu just like what u'v said they did for LRT in the 80's sa manila

    kay kung dili sugdan karon aw maparehas na nya ta ani ka-hassle sa MRT construction years from now just like what u've said (again) hehe

    imoha ra gitagaan ug example akong point boss. salamat!

    why wait for the infrastructure that takes years to build, if you can immediately implement the plan within few months?

    why wait for years before building the infra when you can build it now at the same time implement another plan (brt) within the next few months?

    paminaw nako bro mura ug impractical pa kaau kung unahon ang LRT...mas dali ang BRT kay dedicated road ug station ra ang buhaton...kay sa LRT nga need paka ug dako nga power supply, mga riles ug mga underground station.

    ok... there is no end here... you seem to fell inlove with MRT chuva-ekek... dont know your reason is... but heres my parting words... "IMPRACTICAL"...
