    metro manila already implemented BRT



    it was supposed to be tested "ONLY" in manila, but apparently... murag ila nang gi adopted! deym imperyalists!!

    I can't wait ma implement ni dri sa ato
    And i hope our government will try to find ways to prevent similar problems na encounter sa manila in terms of public mass transpo.

    Advantages:

    1. Less congestion on the street because some jeepneys will be taken out of commission. Effect: Less traffic.
    2. Travel time savings. As with jeepneys, naa sa kamot sa driver ug ma late ka or dili kay tungod ilang huna-huna wala ninyo kundi pila ka pasahero iyang makuha along the way. His reason: To maximize profit. Pero kining BRT, naa ni time frame, maybe in every 20 minutes naay bus kada stations.
    3. Gisuweldohan ang mga BRT drivers so ang effect ani wala nay mag sige paugat diha sa dalan nga mag huwat ug pasahero kay lagi nag apas sa quota ug abang sa jeep.
    4. Kining cursed Filipino time, mahinay2x nani ug kawala kay tungod ma disiplinado na ang tawo bahin sa time. Kay sa ilang mga mind naka tatak na ang mga time schedule kada bus stations. It will be habit-forming kining "time awareness" bahin aning bus scheduling. Once you get this habit, dili lang bus stations ang maapektuhan kundi imoha pud adlaw-adlaw na lihok. So Filipino time will one day become Frecision time.
    5.People with cars will eventually take BRT if short distances ra iya adtoon kay tungod mas practical, maka save sa fuel,and at the same time dili mahasol pangita ug parking lot. So less cars=less traffic=less pollution, and maybe less road rage.
    6.Kasagaran sa maligsan dili lang tungod pataka ra ug labang ang tawo kundi hilig ug lomba ug overtake ning ubang jeepney drivers. Once molabang ang tawo, ang una niyang tan'awon kay iya jud nga left side, pero what if in that moment pag tan'aw nimo sa left naay nagpadulong na sakyanan sa imong right? Piti kalaki. So BRT, will lessen abusive drivers. DILI sad jud pwede maglumba ang duha ka BRT buses kay: Only 1 bus per station at a given time rajud ni.
    7. No more "demanding feeling important strikes" from abusive jeepney operators. Gasalig ni sila nga ug wala sila, makalakaw ug ahat ang mga tawo. Naa tood uban lugar nga jeep gihapon ang means to commute pero overall makuhaan jud ning abusive operators.
    8.Naay snatching jud mahitabo ani specially sa waiting stations. Pero ug na snatchan ka pasabot ga wara-wara ka sa imong fon diha. So GABA ug mao na. Snatch ako pasabot ha dili holdup. Pero kining snatching inside the bus although possible pero ang "room for errors" sa snatcher DAKO kaayo. Dili raba ni makaboot ang snatcher WHEN MONAOG kay sa station rajud muhunong ang bus. SO ug ikaw na nakabalo ka nga na snatchan ka in the middle of travel, there is no way for the snatcher nga makadagan. So unsa possible mahitabo ani? LIBRE KULATA SA SNATCHER. Kining holdup sa buses, although possible pero as a criminal I will think tiwce why? Cebu City is so small, dali rako madakpan. So mao ng ang mga holdup mostly mahitabo ni siya sa long-travel kanang mo adto naka ug lain probinsya.

    Unsa may pamaagi sa pagbayad ani? LRT/MRT style or bayad sa driver then sakay?

    If I'm not mistaken, Cebu BRT will use smart card ticketing/fare system.

    Tama...Buses nga high ug dako...sama anang makita nato nagdagan for
    tourists...na perting taasa..di jud kaabut ang tubig..

    ang sa ako lang ba why not approve first the budget for the train para mahinay-hinayan na siyag implement bahalag dugay, then ang BRT na dayun next i-approve nya ang planning teams for both systems kay mag-converge to an idea on how to implement both without affecting each other or perhaps one system will benefit the other

    kay kung unahon man gd ni nila ang bus ang tendency ani in the future mag-implement na sad para sa train which will cost more na nuon

    of course daku2 jd siya nga trabahuon peru may nalng gisugdan kaysa wala jd hehe
