I really like how the food tastes in TOSH, the service is great and the preparation time is quite fast, pricing is also good! Me and my girlfriend dine there at sundays, probably we'eve already tasted almost all of the dishes.

    I would totally recommend Nonki.

If you want some Japanese Ramen, then Kamekichi. If you want some Yakiniku, then Kanyoen.

Rai Rai Ken, Red Kimono, Terriyaki Boy are not authentic Japanese restos. They just suck in my opinion. Haha. Sumo Sam's okay. Not that great but not bad either.

correct.. lami kayo sa nonki... my favorite sa ila kay ang somen, agedashi tofu, chicken tepanyaki, jo nigiri, sushi/sashimi/tempura set and the spider roll... mag puli2 rajud na.... also try yumeiya(correct my spelling pls!), kaishu(lapu2) and mikado(eat all you can)... di mo mag mahay.

I've been to Goku 2-3 times in the past. In terms of taste, I'd say it's not the best. Even my Japanese friends tell me to go to Banri (Crossroads), Yumeya (Mabolo), Ofuku-san (Country Mall) if I want good tasting food. They say that Goku is a good place for drinking.. that is why it is called Izakaya.

Has anyone been to Guiseppe? What do you recommend?

Went there last night and ordered seafood pasta and their recommended meaty pizza (forgot the name). The food tastes really good at the start, but after dining I somehow can't say it was one of my best dining experience. Maybe because the lighting of the place was rather dark so we were not able to appreciate the ambiance and take a better look at what we were eating? The sauce of the seafood pasta and the quality of pizza were really topnotch. I didn't like tahong in the seafood pasta though. Tahong emits a certain flavor that I think does not blend well with pasta. They could have used other shells aside from tahong. Overall the food tastes really great, but for me there was something lacking to make it a memorable dining experience.
