    @LDL5156 ...

    WHo do you think would have done it better ? The EXPERTS right ? Now problem is , our " EXPERTS " are not competent so that means , time for REFRESHER COURSE .

How a leader reacts under fire is most important, taking time out to have your response tailored by a bunch of advisers during such a critical international incident is like Nero playing the fiddle while Rome burned.

    Swat made mistakes, serious mistakes. However what excuses can be offered for the dreadful mismanagement immediately following the tragedy? I don't blame Pnoy for the failures of SWAT. I do blame him for not intervening in the aftermath.
    Bai .... why dont you check out countries that offer the best SWATS and has the most controversial crimes ever . Just because there is no word of the PRESIDENT equates that he is hiding and as per your explanation , doesnt matter what he was actually doing .

    If that is the case .... wala na lang unta ga elect ug mayor of that city or town or ga appoint of chief of police if that is the case . Akong pangutana ... ok lets give in to the notion na sa chain of command ang bottomline is a commander in chief , you are basically saying na ni jump ka ug chain of command ?

    Kung gi blame ni PNOY ang PGMA ADMIN , it is wrong but it is also wrong na i blame si PNOY .

    Kahinumdom ka asa 9/11 ? It was mayor Giulani who runned the show , not then Pres. Bush .

    I though what happened years ago during a hostage drama in Pasay where both the hostage (a child) and the hostage taker end up dead due to indiscriminate firing....

    Again, it was very poorly executed that end up an innocent child dead.

    The scope during that time was that, a sharp shooter has a clear shot over the hostage taker, and when the surrounding policemen heard that gun shot, they all fired at the hostage taker and probably hitting the hostage...

    The hostage victim died of multiple gun shot wounds... And I think, their chief of police was also relived from his job due to that incident...

    Mao lage na sila man unta ang supposed to be experts so imagine na lang what the NOT SO EXPERTS would be doing . I am only reacting sa mga post about training in AIRSFOFT and ONLINE GAMES .

    That's my point. Bush failed during a crisis and somebody else capitalized on the opportunity. Bush only revived his domestic popularity by launching operation shock & awe.... a massive firework display in the wrong country to convince the voters that he was winning the war on terror.

    My personal feeling is that Pnoy kept out of things because he couldn't handle it. Relying on advisers is okay for long-term policy decisions, but for crisis management forget it. What is actually required in such instances is strong and decisive leadership.
