if he dies then Lori won't survive in Labor - that's a big twist... but then again we really can't base what we have read sa comics
coz it's way too different...

in reality that kind of injury that Hershel have without blood transfusion and heavy meds he won't survived. pero i think it's not his time yet to go this early sa Season.

there is no sense talking or even comparing the series to the comics. as what glen mazzara mentioned on talking dead that they try to keep the audience guessing by deviating away from the comics. although it was mentioned earlier that they try to be as close to the comics to keep comic fans happy.

on hershel's well-being though, i think the prison's meds should be able to keep hershel alive.
