good thing naa rko sa sidelines this sinulog. ga laag2x ug enjoy sa party2x. but i can't help notice. wla gyud gihapon tarong nga crowd control, i feel sorry about what happened to the little girl. but i think ang gus2 lang sa mama is mo sorry ang photographer sa bata. i dont think thats very hard to do.

but for me, just because you paid 1000 doesnt mean you have to act all rude and feel like a VIP. The sinulog is there for everybody to enjoy, ma photographer man or spectator. either ni bayad man ka or wla.

Nka notice pud ko, daghan au mga new breed of photographers or should i say feeling photographer. I would like to say, you are not the only one who has a dslr, compose and take ur shots then move out of the frame or out of the way when your done. Give others a chance to take their shots. It doesnt matter if you have a kit lens, a 35mm dx prime lens. if you really are a good photographer you should really know how to use your gears real well.

aah yes....let those arrogant photographers of the hook because we want to focus more on some parent being irresponsible for bringing his/her kid to witness Sinulog.

Or it's the sole responsibility of a parent and not everyone's responsibility to see if someone is hurt in a crowd and be considerate is it?

I think you're pretty much missing the point here sir. Or maybe this can be added also "Sir irresponsable ka nga parent and pwede ka ma pi-it namo imong anak kay naa pud me contestant's ID pama-uli mo!!"

No bro I think it is *you* who is missing my point. Whether the photographer is rude or not does not erase the irresponsibility of bringing kids to an event with millions of people. Tell me, if a stampede occurred or the crowd somehow went out of control don't you think the arrogant photographer would be the least of the parent's worries?

I commend the kid for being intelligent though, at least she knows better than the parent that she doesn't belong in that crowd. If you wanna put the lives of your kids in danger in a crowd of people you don't know and can't possibly be sure won't turn violent, then go ahead. Irresponsible parent is by far worse than an arrogant photograher. The parent is responsible for the safety of his/her kids, not the photographer.

By the way I never said what the photographer did wasn't wrong. But enough posters have said what needed to be said on that regard. I wanted to put focus on the parent too because what he/she did was in my opinion irresponsible. If you disagree fine, not everyone has the same opinion just like parents who let their kids ride in motorcycles without helmets... I mean what do I care, let them risk their kids lives and face regret later.

NO your're veering off from the main issue of concern. It's about the attitude of these photographers. Otherwise if the camera community here in cebu wanted to look for solutions then what? The solution would be to tell parents to leave their kids at home or don't come at all kay it's irresponsible?

And yah you commended the kid by saying his/her parent is irresponsible?

Then go tell all those mga pamilya--parents with kids nga ni tan-aw ug sinulog nga irresponsably sila

The main point here in this thread is about the attitude of these photographers and it's an accepted fact nga ang sinulog is a family affair nga naa gyud mga bata or anak ever since wala pa ang photocontests and these smart photographers

Nadungagan nalang ang problema tungod aning mga hambugero nga Photogs
or sorry nalang pud diha sa mga naigo kay usually they point to the other direction man gud

Let's start nalang a thread... "Irresponsible parents bringing children to Sinulog or street party" nalang

obvious man gud if imo e-stress out gyud about being arrogant and in-considerate nga fotographer mura man gud ug sili or halang kaayo para sa uban so they want to point out to a different direction..so telling
