Lacson for President 2010!!!
@ crinkle Makita na gyud ang effect ani. Gahapon ni suroy ko sa colon nangita ug 2nd hand cellphone. Wala nay barato kay wala na kunoy mga inisnatch kay nangahadlok na ang mga snatchers sa hunter team.
@gareb ang giver_bert If you don't believe me. Adto sa colon pangutana di ba wala nay baligya nga mga cellphone nga kinawat. Ask them the reason why, and they will tell you. What more proof do you want that the solution is working.
as for my opinion, medyo I fear lang na basin madugay kanang mga viglantes mo abusar sa ilang trabaho...

ngnaong kinahanglan man gyud patyon dayon? why not pusil lang sa abaga or itlog or sa paa...eheheee...

People have said again and again in this thread that the reality is what warrants these actions. The reality is ... only the law warrants actions. This is not theory versus reality ... this is cold hard fact. Without the law, we might as well throw in the society, pick up our swords, and go back to the middle ages. People have mentioned ... what if it was you? How many times have any of your lives been in danger? Your cellphones and the money in your pocket is not worth the price of admission so you can step on the very foundations that create our society. Theory versus reality? I'm surprised such a young nation with older people posting have forgotten the struggle to build that foundation. SPRINGFIELD mentions that ideologies confines us to the smaller picture. On the contrary, the reality is ideology looks at the bigger picture and overlooks the small solutions such as this death squad. The people involved aren't even sure if this indeed is a solution. A solution for now .. but is it a long term solution? Common sense? Whose common sense? Yours? Mine? The government's? Common sense is not set in stone, preferably paper ... that is law.
^sakto man pod ingon ni vern... pero ambot lang oi. looking at what happened at Davao, when Mayor Duterte had DDS ( Davao Death Squad ) roaming the city, the crime rate went down jud... it kind of makes us think that this is what our city needs right now... karon lang ba. mura gani'g warning sa mga criminals or mura'g FYI for them that they're not as free anymore to do their thing...
i'm not sure how the hunter team works in cebu but DDS sends out a list, The (in)Famous List. digong airs the names in his tv program, gikan sa masa para sa masa, which serves as a warning to those who are listed. those who were whacked didn't really take the warning seriously.
we also have to note that duterte is a fiscal, a man of the law.... even if he denies DDS as his vigilante group, he tolerates it. death squads is a momentary solution. lower crime rate means more business. more business means more employment opportunities. more employment opportunities minimizes, if not eradicates, the main source of this problem - poverty.
trickle-down effect.
@Vernon: i appreciate ur idealism bro it seems bisan naa ka somewhere beneath the greener pasture wla ka nakalimot sa imong yotang natawhan, but still what u've said doesn't justify what i beleived neithier both of us are correct or wrong but i think if naa ka ngare sa atoa makarelate ka y some of our freinds here share this sentiments, para nako mas maau pa nga ilhon kong salbahis nga pagkatawo sa uban kaysa magpaka aron ingnon ko nga maau but in the end abosaran ra sa uban...i think the objectives here is to demobilized those fugitive but in case mosokol den they will be presecuted to any extent including death...i know this is not a long term solution but the point in here is to remind those culprit that we the sovereign people does not appreciate what they have done and they are not welcome in here, we must whip them a bit hoping they or some might realized that its not too late to changed...no need to go back to the old stone age cause even if it will wla natay angay hehe
As i've said, drafting a law that legalizes Death Squad would be a feasible solution for the country provided that it is all beyond reasonable doubts when killing criminals...and as Crinkle said, it will serve as warning or ultimatum to all inspiring thefts, snatchers..etc to embrace the legal ways of living. The reality is... only the law warrants actions. This is not theory versus reality... this is COLD hard fact. Without the law, we might as well throw in the society, pick up our swords and go back to the middle ages
nindot sad ni maam dah...mao man siguro ni gibuhat ni Dumpit, kanang itlogon ra ba..pero ang naka dimalas kay muhupo ang kriminal, mao nang maigo nalang sa agtang..hehehWhy not pusil lang sa abaga or itlog or sa paa..![]()
