LEGO Series 5: Fitness Instructor Review

    Design

    - I don't know whether female fitness instructors still wear leotards with kaleidoscopic patterns now but I vividly remember 80's aerobics instructors do
    - And check out the cassette player which we called a boom box during my time while listening to Maria Vidal's Body Rock in 1984 (I was 14).
    - This figure exudes so much energy that it makes me want to dance (but I don't think you want to see me dance because you'd think I'm having a seizure)

    Paint

    - The paint job is superb and the pink is aptly girlish. I wish more female instructors now would wear something like this rather than black.

    Accessories

    - She only comes with the 'boom box' but that's enough for me.

    Fun Factor

    - I was disappointed when I first got her but now I think she'd be fun having around the other minifigures and firing them up for exercises until they drop.

    Gripe

    - I wish they painted her back too.

    Score: 4/5

    LEGO Series 4: Musketeer

    Design
    - He certainly looks like one. Two more of these and I'll have the Three Musketeers (triplets untill I find
other heads that has a beard/mustache combo).

    Paint
    - Nothing jaw dropping but clean

    Accessories
    - He's just armed with a rapier.

    Fun Factor
    - I can imagine this guy going after my female minifigures with amorous intentions :P
    - And would be a perfect comic relief for the more serious male warrior/soldier minifigures.

    Gripe
    - I wish he had a flintlock musket (but I can borrow the Royal Guard's, he he) and a cape.

    Score: 4/5

    En garde!

--- yet another review before I do another fun thing ---

    LEGO Series 7: Viking Woman

    Design
    - Based on some Google search results, this could be an accurate depiction of a Viking woman (forget about the versions for fan boys, pfft! I mean come on, two piece fur bikinis in the North?).
    - And wow, two faces in one head. A fighting face and a singing face. Woot!

    Paint
    - I love the overall brown scheme (I'm a bit biased here since brown is one of my favorite colors).
    - Some macroscopic paint defects but virtually invisible using our naked eyes

    Accessories
    - She comes with a sword and a shield. Sadly her helmet and hair is just one piece.

    Fun Factor
    - I love athletic women, you know, women with some muscles (er, but not to big), you know Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Garner, etc.
    - This girl can take care of herself and probably would show the Musketeer a thing or two about sword fighting ...
    - .. and when she's not fighting and the Fitness Instructor's boom box is broken, then she can sing "The Ride of the Valkyries"

    Gripe
    - None really

    Score: 4.5/5

btw, i like your reviews on the minifigs. even though i don't collect them, nevertheless, it is still entertaining.

lastly, kadyo (the name of my construction foreman minifig) wants to extend his warm regards to your fitness instructor minifig. he thinks she's hot and hoping he could ask her on a date someday. hehehe.
