UP Education is really different from other schools in the country. Students are allowed to think freely and go beyond the boundaries of what the institution can offer. UP produced the brightest graduates in the country because of Militant Scholarship.

UP students are taught to act when something is wrong and to always seek for the truth. They go to the streets because they believe that the system is not right. UP Students are taught to serve the country and to be vigilant.

I would like to correct that notion that it is not the government who funded UP Education, but it the PEOPLE's MONEY who gave UP Students the opportunity to be in UP.

I salute the UP or Non-UP Students who go to the streets to register their call. Let us be reminded that activists changed our society. Let us be reminded that during the People Power Uprising, UP Students and non-UP Students removed a dictator no other than Marcos.

Let us not be limited in one point of view. Let us read more and be more LOGICAL
