I just want to re-iterate that WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK ... BUT WE WANT CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK.
If something is not working as expected, then tell us what you expected and where you encountered it. Search through the appropriate forums and see if an issue has already been discussed ... most likely it has, in fact, all the issues people are talking about now were issues we were aware of during the first hours of going live.
As far as performance goes, there is no performance issue ... although there was. If you beg to differ, I can give you unit tests, response tests, and bandwidth tests. The website is graphic/css/html heavy, welcome to the new internet.
Once again, give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and post them in the appropriate forum ... User Support. Help us, help you, help everyone.
libog cya gamay.. question lang hah.. asa nako makit-an ang replies to post?
Let me rephrase that ... I don't know how a website could "crash" your browser, but ok.
There is no code a website could use that could crash any browser unless it is a bug in the browser itself, hence crashing would be an exploit that would be fixed by Mozilla. We don't use any code that would crash Firefox. If Firefox crashes because of any website, blame your extensions and plugins. I use Firefox and iSTORYA has never crashed on me ... no website has ever crashed Firefox for me. If you want to find out exactly what is crashing your browser, send logs for us to look at. While you are at it, send Mozilla a bug report because if this is happening without the interference of extensions or plugins, it is a bug and needs to be fixed by them.
The statements I made weren't intended to sound as if the old iStorya Board itself were causing the crashes (because I know you want to underline this fact, so let it be known that I'm stating right now, that it's not iStorya that was causing the crashes)--I was just expressing the fact that sometimes when I open up an iStorya thread in Firefox, my Firefox crashes. And when I duplicate the feat in IE, the crash doesn't happen, which clearly indicates that indeed, there is something wrong with Firefox. If someone out there thinks I have some sort of maligned intent to smear iStorya as "browser crasher" then please do read my previous statement again, because I have stated it more clearly now.
